Stopped in here for New Year's eve dinner. Atmosphere: this is a very large restaurant with loads of varying sized tables for all sorts of groups. It is designed to evoke a western feel and does quite a nice job of it. The waiting area is not overly large, but sufficiently large enough for a non-holiday experience. There is a... More

The family and I stopped by Longhorn before a Roanoke Symphony holiday concert. It is a comfortable, attractive restaurant and we were all comfortable with the lower level of music. The Spinach Artichoke dip was great, particularly the warm/thin chips which were gladly refilled when we ran low. Sirloin, fillet and even a hamburger entrée was all very tasty. Sides... More

Surprised by how good the food is at this chain. Nice atmosphere, decent wine, good margarita, excellent Cabernet filet, less than 600 calorie choice.

We expected a pretty average meal with longhorns being a large chain but we were wrong. The steaks here are fantastic! In two weeks we ate here 3 times. I recommend the outlaw steak, it's very good. Also please order the longhorns steak sauce. They bring this to the table and cook some fresh onion, garlic and rosemary before adding... More

My wife and I have been to several Longhorn Steak Houses in our travels but this one is far and above the best! Greeted with the famous southern hospitality as we walked in the door and from there it simply got better. We ordered cocktail before dinner and the waiter to extra precaution to get them correct. Afterwards he came... More

We arrived at a time of day when there were not a lot of customers. We waited for over 10 minutes before we had someone ask if anyone was helping us. All we could think of was, if it is this slow during the slack time, how in the world do they operate during busy times? However, the manager comp'd... More

My husband & I were spending Friday, October 10th (which was my birthday) in Roanoke doing some antiquing and when my husband asked where I wanted to go for MY birthday dinner...I didn't hesitate to mention Longhorn to get a delicious steak! This was our first visit to THIS restaurant, but it did not disappoint! We arrived for dinner and... More

Eaten at Longhorn Steakhouses in the past and know it isn't worth waiting 55 minutes for. Gotta be a better choice in Roanoke.

If you have a craving for a nice ribeye steak, this is not the place to go. I had the 11 ounce ribeye(19.99), and my wife had the 8 ounce primerib(16.99). We were both very disappointed with our selection. We have started a list of places we will not waste our money at, and this gets added to our list.... More

We enjoyed excellent service from Cassandra! She was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. She kept every water and tea glass full without having to be asked !!
