Bread Craft serves a number of fresh pastries and quiches for breakfast, no scrambled eggs, omelets etc, at least for now. Their food is delicious. They will be moving from their current location on Jefferson Street, to a nearby and larger spot this summer. They plan to expand their menu. Can't wait!

After moving to Roanoke recently, I discovered Bread Craft after dropping in mid week to grab a quick bite for breakfast. Ordered the chorizo egg cocotte and was told it takes 20 minutes. I was pretty hungry, so I decided to wait it out and was glad I did. This dish is one of the best breakfasts I've had in... More

I came here on a whim after spending the night at the Roanoke Hotel. I wanted a made to order restaurant, but I stumbled upon this place and I am certainly happy I did so. I ordered the chorizo egg cocotte. It was amazing. I am craving it now...

I just had a scone that I purchased at Bread Craft two days ago, and after 20 seconds in the microwave it was still amazing. Yesterday I had their almond croissant- not just a log of almond paste rolled into pastry dough; this was delicate and flaky and balanced perfectly. Two days ago my husband and I stopped here on... I was visiting the city and had the pleasure of coming by to check out the hype. The space itself is rather small, but well worth the trip. I got a ginger/orange scone, cinnamon bun, and various cookies while I was there. The food itself I didn't try but it was very busy. I learned the hard way that parking... More

We were on the road and spent the night in Roanoke, but wanted to have a tasty breakfast before heading out. We found this place via tripadvisor, and we are more than happy to add to the glowing reviews. We both had the egg cocette and loved this dish along with the bread. We are breakfast snobs and have done... More

It's very hard to find REAL bread in this part of the world, after growing up in New York City. Bread Craft is as good as any of the Italian bakeries I remember from my childhood, though their product is more French than Italian. It's a little hole-in-the-wall place with a few tables and will serve lunch, but the real... More

My sister, mother and I met in Roanoke for a medical appointment that ran long, so we didn't get to the bakery until after 1:30. We ordered two panini with side salad that took long enough to be served that I was wondering if we would have time to finish eating before the 2:00 closing time. It appeared there was... More

We stopped in for breakfast. My husband had eggs florentine and I had a ham and cheese tart. Both were really delicious. The coffee was great, too. And the staff was very friendly. Perfect breakfast!

First morning in Roanoke, and we were ready for a delightful experience. As I found this place on Trip Advisor, I was interested in seeing how it would rate, especially since is was within walking distance from our hotel. We happened upon on of the bakery's delivery men, who gave us perfect directions...arriving late was probably a disadvantage; by that... More
