Two friends and I ate there for breakfast yesterday. We arrived around 10:00, so our selection of pastries was limited, but every one of them was a winner! Flaky pastries with savory toppings, the biggest, baddest scones every, homemade granola, gigantic cookies, and a huge dose of friendly service! We are here in Roanoke doing some wedding pre-planning for one... More

Picked up a few different pastries to try at home. On the recommendations of previous Trip Advisor reviewers I tried the Chocolate Hazelnut scones. I thought they were unique and delicious! Bread was also very good. Friendly and helpful service.

That's it, just LOVE. The food is always great, the service exceptional and the atmosphere pleasant. Whenever I am in town I make it a point to visit and have a delicious prosciutto sandwich in delicious fresh baked bread. mmmmm

You owe it to yourself to partake of this extraordinary bakery in downtown Roanoke. But visit early in the morning for the best selection, since the most popular items do not last long!

Excellent approach to baking with with only fine ingredients, in varied European breads and pastries. My favorites are kouing aman, reminiscent of the finest French pastries, along with croissants of real distinction. Don't let their limited space fool you - Bread Craft turns out wonderful items for eat-in and take-out.

If you try nothing else, try this scone... Bravo, Bread Craft! My husband tells me I'm a food snob. I don't think so, I just like good, fresh, well prepared food. I've worked in restaurant kitchens, and pastry kitchens, too. I can appreciate the ingredients and craft work that went into this scone, and the delicious wheat bread, and, the... More

I have now been to Bread Craft on three different occasions, and the baking has been impressive each time. For my first visit, I had breakfast with a co-worker and tried the croissant with spinach, feta, and artichoke. The croissant was light, flaky, buttery and delicious. My previous two visits have been for lunch and I’ve ordered paninis both times,... More

Above average place for breakfast near the outdoor market (which is really good - Saturday mornings. Entrees (sandwiches, egg dishes) above average; baked goods and French press coffee excellent. A take your order, deliver to your table (about 8) place. Friendly service.

Downtown Roanoke, the place to go for light breakfasts, baked goods, or sandwiches. Small, with about five tables, note the number of locals coming in for breakfast on the fly. Baked goods are great, and we've brought their bread about 500 miles to friends house as a treat. Coffee is excellent - personal rating "can I have some more?" Friendly... More
