What's in season and local is on the menu

Impressed to see names of local source farms on the back of the menu. Creative combinations of ingredients in every dish. Menu will help you expand your palate! No menu for kids but chef made kid size burger with roasted potatoes that were seasoned perfectly.

Fantastic place to eat, highly recommend giving it a try. All local food, fresh and delicious. Will definitely be going back to eat again.

A nice quiet place, which we appreciated after a long day of riding from NJ to Virginia. Has an upscale feel without being pretentious. Food strikes a good balance between sophistication and ... well, just being good food. The one dish that stands out is the Buffalo flank steak. Two of our party ordered it and were not disappointed. I... More

A great restaurant in a small neighborhood in Roanoke. Excellent locally grown food. Have been here twice and have had excellent meals. A little pricey, but worth every penny.

The foods are local grown. The menu did not have anything that interested me. The waitress was new and seemed a little confused about the layout of the menu. Prices seemed a little high for the size of the portions.

I lived in Roanoke for 2 years and visited this restaurant regularly. The beer selection is excellent and changes regularly. If you like trying beer, you need to join the beer club even if you're only planning on stopping in once. The bartenders are fantastic and make excellent custom drinks when asked. If mixed drinks are your thing, I recommend... More

We ate here to experience local cuisine. All of the food was sourced locally, was very well prepared, and delicious. The service was excellent. Their signature bread pudding dessert was amazing.

I wanted to try this restaurant and finally went with a group of girlfriends for one of their birthday's. Cool place and was very hip. The service was very slow and it really wasn't that busy.... that being my biggest pet-peeve since I've worked in upscale restaurants for a big portion of my life. Our server was very nice and... the location of this restaurant in grandin village is excellent. have eaten here 3 times over the last 6 months and while i would like it to be differnet, i am afraid my meals have not been memorable. Frankly i feel like the intent is more to impress with clever presentation and ingredients than it is to deliver an excellent... More

We had just moved to Roanoke and I was very excited to try this place. We had hoped to find a regular date spot. When we arrived they had just opened and there were not many patrons at all. We were seated but then had to flag down our waitress/I think she was a waitress to take our order. Ordered... More
