Went to this restaurant as recommended by the innkeeper at the King George Inn. The pulled pork sandwich was really good and so were the French fries. Just don't make the mistake that we made by ordering large fries. There were enough fries to feed an army!

This place is so good the Discovery Channel just visited to do a special on them. I've been eating here for years and it's a must.

Loud, efficient, and tasty: everything that's needed for a super barbeque experience. Anytime we're passing through Roanoke, we plan on stopping and eating this terrific food.

I've been to Blues BBQ on multiple occasions and usually the food is very good. In my opinion, it is a bit expensive for a BBQ restaurant and I wish they offered more lunch specials. The hush puppies with a side of honey butter are a great choice as an appetizer or as one of your sides for a sandwich... More

Bar-B-Q was like out of a can. Frozen fried okra; and if the french fries were "fresh cut" I'm a monkey's uncle. Nasty sauce collection from months ago in filthy bottles. Oh wait, did I hear blues? Ah, no. Service was okay.

Went here with friends while visiting Roanoke. The food was not bad, but nothing great. The Barbeque was similar to what you would make at home. No great variety of sauces to put on the sandwiches. The ribs were about the same. Not a super great deal for the price paid. Not horrible, but not a "must see" when in... More

Excellent BBQ and large portions! The sides are all delicious too and a small but great selection of draft beer!

Tuesday was live music night and we had a great time listening to Kelly Scott, eating southern food and drinking beer. Nice, friendly hospitable people too. Great pulled pork (a dish not an activity) and the tastiest fries. We went back again for the beer!

I have been to blues BBQ a few times and has excellent food. But tonight I never got my food and I was there for a hour and a half. The people behind us got there 45 minutes after us, but got there 15 minutes later. Very bad experience tonight.
