Stopped in with the family last Friday night. Waiter was prompt and pleasant. Mucho Nachos were excellent. Sandwiches were huge and tasty. All the sides were excellent. Great place for the family.

Traveling thru Roanoke we found market street and then Blue's BBQ. We were immediately seated and our server right behind to take our drink order. She explained their special, The OINKER, and my husband quickly ordered it. It is ham, bacon, pulled pork with provolone cheese in a mustard bbq sauce. He absolutely loved it and the small bite I had... More

We just left from having lunch at Blues BBQ in Roanoke, Va. Before I begin my review, I would like to point out that my husband and I travel extensively and have had the opportunity to sample some of the best and worst BBQ in the south. That said, when we entered Blues BBQ we immediately took notice that it was... The ribs are outstanding and I can see why they were votes the best I town. The staff was helpful nice and quick. They recommended to keep the side dished in mind because hey are good. She was right and the two I ate were very good. I tried the grit cakes they were done well but not to my... More

We really enjoyed our lunch here passing through Roanoke. The service was nothing great and the restaurant was quite dark although, the food rocked. Everything our party of 4 ordered was really good. The staff was quite nice, just busy. The ribs and pulled pork were incredible. We will return.

My parents came into town and wanted to go out to dinner and we had both heard positive things about Blues BBQ. When you first walk in while waiting to be seating the old decor is quite appealing. There is not much seating and it almost feels crowded. The server took a long time to even take drink orders. There... More

I just came back from a dinner at Blues BBQ and my wife ordered one of the pork slaw with spice sauce and I ordered the smoked chicken sandwich. The pork slaw did not have any sauce and did not come with slaw and when we asked the server he told us that did not come with the food, I... More

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Salem. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich and I had a turkey wrap. Both were really good. The hush puppies are to die for with their peach butter. Our waitress was really sweet and gave us recommendations. Great atmosphere. Will definitely come back when we're in the area.

We had a mixed experience at this restaurant. It is located in downtown on a pedestrian square and has both outdoor and indoor seating. We chose indoor because it was very humid but that only gave partial relief. The server was very nice, put in our order and kept our drinks full. When an issue with the POS system caused... More
