Seemed a little disorganized

Went in for dinner and wasn't really sure what the identity of the place was. The servers all seemed to be working hard, but from the looks of things, it seemed like they were a little out of sync. I will be back, but next time I will come in for cocktails and apps, because it seems that is what... read more

Had linner (4:30 pm) and it was delicious...crabmeat omelet for me, meatloaf for hubby. Excellent service and ambience. Perfect timing before the happy hour crush.

We had so much fun. It was Friday night and the bar was packed so we decided to eat in the dining area. Our server was great. I wish I could remember her name. She was kind, attentive and gave great recommendations! We started with the Bavarian pretzel and then we each had an entree. I got the Papparadelle pasta... More

We were hungry but didn't want too much. The waitress was very helpful. The onion soup she suggested was very delicious. We chose to split the burger which was flavorful and cooked just right. They have a very nice dessert selection. Will return.

American Tap Room is definitely my "go to" place to eat and hang out when I'm in Reston for business. The food is upscale bar cuisine that is top notch. The service is awesome and I love the ambiance. Great place to watch games or for a lively happy hour with friends or work crew.

I dined at the American Tap Room for the first time a few weeks ago for lunch and I was not impressed with the overpriced menu or the service. I ordered the Maryland Crab Soup, which was missing the “CRAB” it was basically vegetable soup. I also had the caesar salad with grilled shrimp, it was actually ok but I... More

We found this restaurant walking around Reston, the food was good and the staff very kind and attentive. I had the chef special which was a delicious pork belly on a root mash, my friend had a burger and he liked it very much. They have an extensive list of beers to try.

Delicious and fun food.. Great ambience and atmosphere. Good service. This venue has seen a number of restaurants come and go over the years, but this is our favorite of them all.

We were hoping for lots of choices and some good bar food when we stopped at the bar here but got a beer menu that was pretty standard and almost no bar menu (a pretzel was the best thing we could come up with so we went elsewhere). Beer was ok, bar was pretty busy on a Saturday night but... More

Loved the ambiance, was seated next to the fireplace, which was so warm and nice on a cold, blustery winter day. The calamari was yummy. The beef stew was thick, chunky, and flavorful with a big dollop of buttery mashed potatoes in the center. The truffle mac n cheese was ok. Didn't really taste the truffle. Will order something else.... More
