Great food, too loud!

Ate here on a Friday night, long wait for table, but was able to sit at the bar and order drinks, my mojito was wonderful! Their chips and salsa were also great, and can be unending! We did get a table, slow service, but food was good. My real complaint is how loud it is, hard to enjoy... read more

Dropped in to Uncle Julio's on a lark while wandering and shopping through Reston Town Center and we weren't disappointed. First of all, dropping in at 7pm on a sunny Saturday evening, we expected to have a considerable wait for a table. However, much to our surprise, we were seated within five minutes (not sure if it would have been... More

If you like Chevy's you will probably be okay here. That is if you can stand a very obnoxious sound level. Absolutely no noise attenuating material in the walls or ceilings, so you will be shouting to hear your seatmates. Not my idea of pleasant dining but it was busy so not everyone agrees. They push overpriced alcohol hard here.... More

We usually go to the arlington location so reston is a little closer to work now. Make a reservation on open table because it's get super busy, and it's loud. The bar makes great drinks and the bartenders are super cool. The waiter dropped apart of my order and they felt super bad. The manager came out an apologized, and... More

Very busy restaurant & we had to wait for a table. The food was worth the wait though. I had a margarita & it was absolutely the best one I've ever had. And I am speaking as a margarita lover, I try it anywhere they have it. Service was outstanding & the waiter was very courteous although the restaurant was... More

Not much to say about this place; I’m just not a fan of their food (the only thing I enjoyed was the chips and salsa) and the noise level didn’t help either.

I went there with my sister for dinner . very busy restaurant but the food was worth the wait. the down fall is that they have the tables so close together that the waitress and waiters have trouble getting by with the food. you cant move your chair to get comfortable. the flour tortillas are made from scratch, and the... Uncle Julio's has just about the best chain food around for Mexican cuisine. SErvice is usually very good and one could easily be filled on the appetizers alone. The drinks are truly wonderful. The down side is the noise. One cannot carry on any conversation inside the venue even if you find yourself yelling across the table.

their guacamole is sublime! service was excellent and their skirt steak fajitas were simply heavenly! Perfectly marinated and grilled meat - was SO soft and yummy - housemade tortillas were soft and pillowy - worth the wait!

Nothing like great fajita tacos on a stormy evening. I frequent Uncle Julios often and the quality of the food is always excellent. The guacamole is fresh, delicious, and just enough spice. The salsa is always fabulous, and whether it's the fajita tacos, or shrimp guadalajara, the food is superb.
