What a find!. I still can't believe the prices, the portion sizes, and how delicious the food was. We were lokking for a quick and easy lunch, and we found it here. I had the ground sirloin, and my wife hat an entree salad with Shrimp, and the bill was under $17. This was probably the most inexpensive, great tasting... More

I enjoy finding new cozy and unusual settings with great food and this little restaurant more than qualified! My party and I all ordered their platter that included a mixture of shrimp, fish, scallops, and deviled crab. They had theirs 'blackened' while I ordered mine fried and we were all extremely happy with our selections. The prices were very reasonable... More

We arrived early, before 5pm. They open at 5, so we went for a walk down the street first. We came back and sat down in front of the restaurant on a bench. At about 5, I noticed a woman staring at us through the window. She noded her head at me. I motioned "are you open now"? She noded... More

After reading the reviews for this place I thought I was going to find a "hidden gem", but was quite disappointed: the food was average and nothing special, and what was really nice was the friendly service. Value for money though can be good for the price conscious.

If you love crab cakes, this is definitely the place for you. The prices are reasonable and the place is folksy--like walking back to an earlier era!

We traveled to Portsmouth for a family vacation and were looking forward to a delicious fresh seafood meal. The menu choices were dull and unimpressive. There wasn't much creativity in the dishes/recipes. The food was bland without any spices/seasoning and the portions were surprisingly small. It was a very disappointing meal.

This restaurant came highly recommended by the hotel I stayed at and the previous trip advisor reviews were quite positive. However, my visit was quite different. The staff was not friendly at all and the service was very slow. The food was bland (salmon dinner) and I received the wrong dessert that was ordered for takeout. The meals are large,... More

We went on a Monday night when they opened at 5pm. Easy curbside free parking. Our waiter, Skip, was phenomenal! Very knowledgeable about the menu & the specials. Very professional, efficient & friendly! Hubby had the lobster Gabriel & I had the fried shrimp, both were excellent! Seafood was cooked to perfection, fresh sautéed spinach & the BEST hush puppies... More

First of all it was our first visit but definitely will not be the last, we were greeted at the door and they were hoping busy. I didn't expect a whole lot but boy was I surprised, the food was great, the service was impeccable and you can't beat the prices. I had broiled scallops, our friends had fried shrimp,... More

Located in Olde Towne Portsmouth, the decor and size are quaint! Indicative of the area. The food and service are out of this world! They have undoubtedly the best flounder, fried oysters but our now favorite dish is the CRAB MEAT PORTSMOUTH!!!! The crab puffs for appetizers are the best! Again service is the best also! Becoming our favorite local... More
