We had a wonderful meal of soup, main meal with 2 sides and dessert. All was delicious. The best it was so inexpensive for what we had. The eggnog cheesecake with caramel sauce was great.

We just happened to come across this little jewel. The restaurant was small but the flavor was huge. They were serving She Crab soup, which was some of the best I have ever had. All of our seafood was cooked perfectly...melt in your mouth delicious!

This is a nice gem in Portsmouth. Small, but cozy, intimate and the food is really good! Visited for lunch with coworkers, but this is a great place for a quiet dinner with spouse.

You will not be disappointed. The crab cakes were succulent, the flounder was tender and perfectly balanced. These people cook with care and pride.

What a find!. I still can't believe the prices, the portion sizes, and how delicious the food was. We were lokking for a quick and easy lunch, and we found it here. I had the ground sirloin, and my wife hat an entree salad with Shrimp, and the bill was under $17. This was probably the most inexpensive, great tasting... More

I enjoy finding new cozy and unusual settings with great food and this little restaurant more than qualified! My party and I all ordered their platter that included a mixture of shrimp, fish, scallops, and deviled crab. They had theirs 'blackened' while I ordered mine fried and we were all extremely happy with our selections. The prices were very reasonable... More

We arrived early, before 5pm. They open at 5, so we went for a walk down the street first. We came back and sat down in front of the restaurant on a bench. At about 5, I noticed a woman staring at us through the window. She noded her head at me. I motioned "are you open now"? She noded... More

After reading the reviews for this place I thought I was going to find a "hidden gem", but was quite disappointed: the food was average and nothing special, and what was really nice was the friendly service. Value for money though can be good for the price conscious.

If you love crab cakes, this is definitely the place for you. The prices are reasonable and the place is folksy--like walking back to an earlier era!

We traveled to Portsmouth for a family vacation and were looking forward to a delicious fresh seafood meal. The menu choices were dull and unimpressive. There wasn't much creativity in the dishes/recipes. The food was bland without any spices/seasoning and the portions were surprisingly small. It was a very disappointing meal.
