Great coffee

Great coffee. Quick service. We got a chai and bagels on our way to work for breakfast. I also got a veggie wrap and it was better than some back at home in Oregon.

Came here for lunch and it was pretty good! I had the king James hot dog and the pricing didn't match the quality. It was 5 dollars I think. Good place to come and have coffee, lunch, and dessert!

Right next to the Virginia SPorts Hall of Fame and across from the Children's Museum is this great coffee shop. It also sells breakfast and lunch entrees which are simple but quite good. The locals gather in the morning to discuss politics and city happenings. Check it out--it's an original.

Went there for lunch, it is a small shop that serves coffees and other sorts of drinks and pastries and lunch. Food is reasonably priced. Veggie wrap is excellent, served with chips and a pickle. They have other wraps, flat breads, pizzas, hot dogs, ect. Nothing overly fancy, but a nice spot for lunch!

We stopped in one morning for coffee. They had several house specialty drinks, which I tried a Fireside Mocha. It was very good yet different from your normal vanilla latte. The food was also delicious, the sugar cinnamon donut was AMAZING!! My husband got a breakfast wrap which was also incredible. Wish we would have found this place on our... More

Great little quaint place where humans cook your eggs. The kind of place I search for when on travel. Friendly staff, near hotels. Limited breakfast menu, great coffee and they can do some of the Foo Foo coffee without smirking.

awesome small coffee shop with breakfast treats and lite snacks. Great atmosphere inside and tables on the sidewalk as well. Can get busy but great coffee, tea selections. Easy walk from the Renaissance Hotel.

Stopped in for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The food was average, would not go back as it wasn't anything special. Slow service with not enough help.

I always look for independent coffee shops to give me personality and a local flavor. The Coffee Shoppe is it for Portsmouth. Coffee drinks are great. Sweets are tasty. I favor the scones. I had a Panini sandwich one day and a flat bread pizza another. They were both good. Free WiFi.

This little independent coffee shop...although the name could be better and more descriptive is a great little place in Olde Towne Portsmouth. On the land where this coffee shop now sits once stood a stone house that Benedict Arnold used as his headquarters after defecting to the British Army circa 1781. A sign identifying the spot that once hung on... More
