Nice country style restaurant in the country

Cute place with friendly waitstaff and excellent country cooking. No nouvelle cuisine here, but you can't go wrong with the country breakfasts, fried chicken and pie. Nice atmosphere with a country store and gift shop attached.

Not because the food is great, but rather because this is the only way to "enjoy" the over-priced miserable fare that they serve. Award winning? Seriously? It's the only game in town. This place was recommended to us but my wife and I thought it was awful. My buffalo sandwich, "the dish that everyone comes back for" was meat in... More

Fantastic décor with the actual swinging bridge. Fabulous Buffalo farm and the food is outstanding. Buffalo burger and B-que to die for and love the cobbler. So worth our 3 hr drive from WV.

My husband and I visited the Swinging Bridge for a quick lunch and visit in their shop. I really love the outdoorsy atmosphere in the restarting and shop area. I ordered the cheese steak sandwich and he ordered the locked and loaded chicken sandwich. I also had sweet potato fries with my plate. The special sauce for the fries was... More

We had the buffalo burger and the homemade potatoe chips. Restaurant has a snazzy wooden floppy bridge in the upper part. Various decorations and housewarming gifts, soaps, signs with querky sayings. Loved it

While on a motorcycle trip we happened upon the Swinging Bridge on a fantastic curvy road (route 311) about 40 miles south of White Sulphur Springs, WV. The owner has invested a significant amount in this rural general store and restaurant. Its open for breakfast lunch and dinner. My tab for two for breakfast was less than my after dinner... More
