We had a warm drink here last Sunday while walking around the Treaty Grounds at Waitangi. We all ordered hot drinks, prices were very good and cabinet food looked good also. The staff member wasn't that welcoming and its a pity the drinks took some time to be delivered. Two hot chocolates came first but there was another at least... More

Stopped by here for lunch, after spending the morning wondering around the treaty grounds. Prices are average for a Cafe, serving sizes were good and tasted great! If you love burgers, be sure to try one of theirs - they are a good size and really tasty. The salad was also a decent serving and tasted good. The cakes and... More

Nice surroundings, peaceful grounds - cafe is in the forest, and prices and food are "standard cafe" offerings. Worth the visit if you're planning to eat out - this is much preferred rather than some noisy, expensive place in Pahia. Great for kids as the outdoor seating is in a garden with covered tables on the deck. Food is OK... More

If you are headed to the treaty grounds this is a good place to refuel before or after. Idyllic setting, yummy food and good coffee

Great spot - relaxing and cool in summer with a lovely view across the bay. Food was great - service fine.

Great setting, interesting menu and well cooked food - though we all went for the whalers breakfast which was the traditional full English with steak

Food was great, interior was shabby looking and service was very average. Nice outdoor eating on uneven tables and hard chairs. does not reflect the importance of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds as a NZ iconic attraction

A nice way to finish off the tour of the Waitangi treaty area in pleasant surrounds. The restaurant is immediately adjacent to the treaty area and accessible either from snide it or outside.

We stopped at this cafe before we ventured through to the Waitangi treaty grounds. Our toasted sandwiches and coffees were very good.

Within the Waitangi Treaty Grounds by the lake well worth a visit for the food alone can be accessed without going through the treaty grounds via the car park
