Nice place to eat

The food was very good. We ate there at night so did not get to enjoy the view which I had heard was very good. They had a good selection of food and wine. Our waiter was a bit detached and didn't seem to want to be there. Overall, a good experience though.

The weather was stunning two Sundays ago and that set us up for a perfect outdoor seating for a special birthday lunch. Party of 10 and everything was ready for us and we had consistent service from the same suave waiter! He was very professional with the table's inability to initially make decisions on what to eat, drink, etc. Food... More

There is a reason that Bloom Restaurant is a worth while destination and it does not take long once you arrive to see why that is. A fantastic dining experience as always! The food and service is consistently top-notch, with the staff going out of their way to ensure your comfort and the best possible dining experience. They are extremely... More

We took some friends there for lunch recently and were advised at local Information Centre that it was worth a visit to the restaurant. The waiter was more than detached, I would say somewhat indifferent or even a little arrogant. The outside tables encapture the amazing views and well worth the visit to appreciate that. The food, well both at... More

We called here for a coffee at the recommendation of the helpful woman at the nearby information centre. Although we sat at the outdoor area the indoor area looked so inviting we planned to return for lunch when we had the opportunity. The menu and awards looked impressive with the tantalising smell of lunch cooking. The view from the outdoor terrace... More

We had booked for lunch and while the food was both good and well cooked, the service cheerful (possibly a bit over familiar if you are not used to Kiwi service) we chose to eat inside the restaurant rather than on the deck as it was particularly hot and sunny - but had to suffer the intrusive and frankly unpleasant... We had a fantastic lunch at Bloom Restaurant. The steak and lamb meals were superb. We recommend this restaurant. The wine tasting prior to lunch was also great

This is a beautiful place. Eating on the deck on a lovely summer day, looking out over rolling hills of vines was great. But ... the place has won awards for beef and lamb, and my companions went for meat options., which they said were satisfactory. I chose the veggie route, which was supposed to be stuffed peppers with orzoi.... More

We went to Bloom hoping to find our new local winery restaurant having moved to the region from Blenheim we need a new restaurant to frequent. Unfortunately although the wine tasting was excellent the service was below expectations. We did visit on a rather busy Sunday lunchtime but we had booked a table in advance. The menu was reasonable for... More

We booked Bloom for a function with family and friends to celebrate our wedding in Martinborough. We chose this venue based purely on reviews and other comments from Trip Advisor, so we were a little nervous when we arrived. We didn't need to be. Marcus was a wonderful host, making sure that things ran smoothly the whole night. He was... More
