We stopped into Cafe Medici for a Sunday lunch and had an excellent meal. Between us we tried the lamb tagine, Moroccan burger and the corn fritters. They were all excellent as was the coffee. Recommended.

My mother and I swung past the ever popular restaurant on a busy Saturday night to see if we could be squeezed in, they were fully booked of course, but with some clever juggling of tables by maitre'd Marvin we got a table! The menu is not huge at Medici but there is a lot of attention to detail and... More

A very busy breakfast destination, which does always bode well. Despite needing to make a beeline for the only spare table the service was great, fast and lovely eggs benedict. Perfectly cooked eggs and well seasoned. Good coffee to match. We had breakfast twice there on our long weekend away to martinborough!

We had a lovely meal with beautiful food, wine and service. Some of the girls were still talking about their meals the next day. We had a very enjoyable evening - thanks Cafe Medici. Very nice ambience.

Arrived here from Palmerston North at 10:00 a.m. to meet with friends from Wellington. Unfortunately they were delayed in the Hutt Valley so we enjoyed beautiful coffees and a seat in the sunshine outdoors in the courtyard. By the time our friends arrived (at almost noon!) we were being chatted to by the friendly staff who served more coffee and... More

We really enjoy dropping into Medici, especially on a cold winter's day. The log fire warms the restaurant, food is great and atmosphere warm and friendly.

After a disappointing start at Pinocchio's we went to Medici to have diner and it was a feast! We had mussels and duck rolls for starters. Very tasty and a good portioned starters. The mains were pork belly and groper. The pork was crispy and melt in the mouth. The creme brulee with sorbet finished on a high for us.... More

I enjoyed my breakfast while sitting in the sunshine outside on tables on the footpath. It was fun to watch people wandering buy. There was a great selection of freshly baked food and the coffee was great. Newspapers available for reading and clean toilets too. I look forward to returning.

When all the winery restaurants are closed - head to Medici for fabulous coffee, vino and food. I had a ragout with papadelle pasta and a fantastic bottle of Ata Rangi Pinot Noir. Husband had the lamb burger which was equally delicious. Thoroughly recommend to all.

We went on a busy Saturday. Good food at reasonable prices with a fairly wide selection of wines by the bottle or glass. The pork belly was well cooked and tasty and the others in our group all enjoyed their food.
