There are staff are very knowledgeable about the area and can recommend which vineyard to see and know which ones are open and which are good to... More

We went here twice on a trip to Martinborough, both for lunch. Hubby had the lamb burger bin times and I tried the squid salad and the chorizo and prawn linguini. All meals were quick to arrive and tasty. Squid was perfectly cooked and prawns were massive. Hubby was really happy with his burger as he often finds lamb burgers... More

When we stayed in Martinborough for our Christmas holiday we went to this cafe four times. The coffee was superb, the sausage rolls the best I have tasted in my life and the beef burger and chips also the best. The ingredients used were so fresh and the taste very sophisticated for what sounds like very ordinary food. They managed... More

Having missed out on the Spanish Eggs here on my last visit; that was what I ordered for T and I this time and 17 yr old had the pancakes with bananas and bacon, cream, blueberries and maple syrup. He was happy. Well, if you ever want a satisfying, perfectly cooked breakfast in Martinborough, then Medici will be the place... More

Beautiful food and coffee, nice central location, service was good and the place had a nice buzz. Even with a big table we were still served very fast- will definitely visit again!

Went there while visiting Martinborough. It was open on a day when most other cafes in town were closed for the holidays. We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. We had nice meals and were impressed by the cabinet selections. Would happily return.

40 minute wait for food certainly takes the gloss off, and just 6 pieces of squid in my $16.00 salt and pepper squid order makes it worse. The rest of the dish was simply coleslaw and peanuts. The highlight was my ginger, honey and lemon drink which was lovely. Martinborough, while lovely, is a money gouging town. Do yourself a... More

Don't let the word cafe fool you. The food at this place is amazing!! Good atmosphere and a nice outdoor area as well. Good, friendly service and nothing is too much trouble. Dinner prices are on the higher side 28-35nzd per main but well worth it. I had Crispy pork belly with black pudding and seared scallops. It comes with... More

Always a good stop for breakfast, if its fine outside tables, otherwise inside. There is a good variety of options for food and the coffee is Peoples Republic. Clean toilets and parking out the front.
