Hidden gem, great food, huge servings!

This was truly a hidden gem. I am so glad I did not order any starters. You get complimentary poppudums and two sauces. I had the dhal magni and friend had chicken/seafood with spinach served with saffron rice. The rice was fit for two people and the chicken/seafood the same. Reasonably priced as... read more

We went for a quick meal before going to Cottesloe to watch the sun set. The wait staff are very professional and attentive. I usually avoid the very hot food but tried the vindaloo. I struggled, my wife loved it.... The staff could see me finding it hot and brought out some yoghurt dish to help cool me down. They... More

Tucked away in Cottesloe, Perth, is a restaurant that we enjoyed this week. The food was deliciously spicy and the helpings were huge. It was great value for money! The tables were placed in such a way that you didn't feel as though other people were on top of you. The lady that served us was cheerful and friendly, which... More

Having eaten in plenty of Indian restaurants, including a lot in the UK, This place is up there with the best of them. The whole meal was fantastic.

Four of us went there for dinner and ordered a chicken and a lamb biriyani, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and another lamb naan. The biriyani dishes came with plenty of raita. All dishes were delicious and were generous in portion. The service was excellent. We were so full, we coudn't finish the naan so took it home with the left... More

Having heard rave reviews about the restaurant in Peppermint Grove, I was disappointed on three separate occasions that I have eaten there. Shocking service - ambivalent and verging on rude at times. Not prepared to 'make good' when wrong meals or food served over 2 hours late. Very ordinary surroundings - cramped seating if up near the wall - unpleasant... More

The food was acceptable taste wise but serving size is certainly smaller then many other Indian restaraunts I have frequented. The noise level in the eatery is very high when there is a reasonable volume of people sitting and eating, conversation with people on our table became a problem, there is a bar area adjacent to the tables that creates congestion... Held my wife's Bollywood themed 60th birthday at this restaurant and can not say enough words of praise, the manager helped us all the way through with the arrangement's and organised the DJ for us as well as liaising the timeline with our Indian welcome ladies and Bollywood dancers and the Henna artist. All the guests commented on the superb... More

Have had take away from here before which was good and delivery was free. Decided to have a bit of spice on my birthday. My partner is vegetarian which can be a problem in terms of choices for her however the range of dishes available for her was vast compared to the norm. We started with Bharwaan Mirchi and Paneer... What a great place to eat!! The service is good but the food is amazing!! A little bit on the pricey side but well worth it. I recommend any of the vegetarian dishes!
