Popped in for a late lunch, only people there which was nice and peaceful. Great layout, menu and atmosphere. Grilled Fish burgers were watery. Staff were quite reluctant to serve, forgot drinks, too busy setting tables etc for no one ! Has great potential with the right staff.

We arrived 40 mins before our ferry check in time. $35 for two coffees and breakfast. We waited 15 mins for two very average coffees. I couldn't finish my flat white. The breakfast took 20mins which was very reasonable. The cooked breaky was great. For us, if the coffees good & the foods average we will return but not viva... More

Best coffee we've had on KI. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice collection of artwork and gifts/souvenirs. Cafe filled up quickly when it started raining so thankful we got in before the rush.

Coffee when it arrived was fine. However upon ordering we were told we would have a 20 minute wait. We then noticed the person making the coffees was running them out as well - completely inefficient. Several people changed their order from coffee when they heard the wait. Why not ensure you have enough staff for the peak season? Not... More

Seems like a nice cafe, but they're not prepared to handle bursts of people. We orderes two coffees to go and were told to wait 5-10 minutes -- instead waited 25 and nearly missed our ferry.

The Sea Spray Cafe turned out to be an unexpected pleasure. This restaurant overlooks the sea and has an unpretentious and understated decor. It's beautiful without being obvious. The food was good, and the service genuinely friendly. The day we visited, we had the tasty fish burger, which had plenty of fresh greens (not your standard iceberg lettuce) and a... More

We got off the ferry and embarked on our first feed of King George Whiting up at Sea Spray Cafe. Beautiful ambiance to the cafe with the decor, decorations and styling. Very seaside. Our food was beautiful. My only criticism was that the service was a bit slow. We had good coffee there although takeaway coffee's on Sunday probably weren't... More

Now called sea spray waited 45mins for one piece of fish and chips. Worst service ever seen, wouldn't go back. Staff not that interested. We're told by a local not to go there but we gave benefit of doubt should have listened .

After arriving on ferry & setting up camp we were famished! Popped into C'seas and had a late lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals & highly recommend it. Customer service was excellent too.
