So sorry to see Hornet's Nest close. There is nowhere else in Orange that can compare to them. Economy has closed another business.

This place is just nasty. I ordered baby back ribs and got St Louis style ribs. Macaroni salad was sour. I was paying for my food saw the cook sneeze and keep making the sandwich. Didn't wash her hands or anything.

Every time we go back to Hornet's Nest it seems to get a little better. Barbara & Jimmy were getting ready for their visit from Santa[Stanley] on the following day. Everything was decorated for the occasion. My husband had the catfish. I always get the shrimp, either deep fried or steamed. It's hard to decide. The night was slowing down,... More

Best place in Orange to eat. Good service, excellant food, friendly people.Jim & Barbara make you feel right at home. You always get more food than you can possibly eat. You never leave hungry.

Went there for lunch and no lights were on and it was about 50 degrees inside as it was outside. The owner was the waiter, cook, and cashier. My fries got cold before I could eat them because it was so cold in there and I kept my coat on the whole time. Prices are too high for the food... More

This is the second time my wife and I went here and it was just as bad the second time as the first time. First thing to note it was freezing in there. It was about 50 degrees outside and inside wasn't too far off. I ordered the pork BBQ platter and I thought I was getting a sandwich but... More

We tried this little local's "joint" in looking for something cheap, good but substantial enough to hold us over until dinner after a 10 mile hike. This was a wonderful little locals spot! Great price, great BBQ and memories of basketball and football teams thru the years posted on the walls. Very comfortable and good eats.

We were halfway through a 9 day motorcycle trip and were passing through orange to get to Gettysburg. Stopped at the garage and asked where to eat and they sent us here. We both got pulled pork and, since I'm a wimp, we got the mild and sweet BBQ sauces. Both were good, but the mild was the best BBQ... More
