Everything! The owner, Manuel, is a hoot. The staff is great, the food is great, the prices are low...how can you beat it?

I am surprised so many gave rave reviews. This place is just average tex-mex (maybe a couple dishes that are more "mex" than "tex"). Every time we go to this restaurant the food is always hot and delicious. Service is always excellent. I guess word has gotten around about this place. I say this because every time we go there if the restaurant isn't full - it gets full fast. Go. You won't be disappointed.

We were hesitant about going here after reading some bad reviews lately, but we really enjoyed it! The food was great and our server was very nice and fast. He was new, but still did a great job. The margarita was delicious and made exactly how I asked. Would return for sure!

This is one of our favorite places in Orange. The Mexican food tastes like what you get out west. The chips and salsa are fresh and the food never dissappoints.

After a longs day drive to arrive at our overnight accomodations in Orange, VA we went to dine at El Vaquero West after reading reviews on tripadvisor. The reviews were right on the mark. Very busy place wigth a large menu and many chef specials. It doesn't look like much, but don't be fooled.
