We ate in the section of the restaurant that is by the beach with the more casual menu. The food and service were very good, similar to the other restaurants owned by this company. Three of us had tacos (one fish and two steak), which were enjoyable. The other person ordered baby back ribs off of their menu from the... More

Duke's is a solid choice if you're looking for a great location, reliable food, and consistent service. Sunset is fabulous, try to book your table accordingly. The fish dishes are all good, drinks not as strong as they lead you to believe, and the service was professional and courteous. All in all a good dinner at a great location.

Beautiful property with a wonderful view of the sunset. We were incredibly hot by the time dinner was done though. Oyy. As previously the bar failed to impress. We dealt with that by ordering simple stuff--vodka, soda and splash of lemonade for example. But while the ones by the pool at the Sheraton would knock you down, these were just... More

I love this restaurant. It is located right on the beach boardwalk on Kan'anapali Beach. Excellent view and great food. What more can you ask for?

We travel to Hawaii every other year. We made reservations at Duke's for an anniversary dinner. They remembered us! They gave us a special table and complimentary dessert. Our waiter was Russell and he was attentive to detail without being intruding. Duke's is great for lunch, drinks or dinner. I also think they are sensitive to seating so that couples... More

The location is great, the food okay. What we had a problem with was that as you entered from the beach there was a sign to proceed to the main seating station. There were no signs indicating where this was and after we walked all the way around the restaurant we finally found it along with three staff members chatting... More

We decided to eat at this restaurant as we are staying at the resort and as we had only just arrived it was late and this was handy. We were able to get a table ok but would suggest you book as it was very busy even though it's late in the season. I always look at how the staff... More

Duke's is a chain yes but its always got a great Mai Tai waiting for you and some good pupu's. Go during their happy hour and its even better. Its hidden away in a resort but its worth a stop.

Excellent food, service and environment. Somewhat "hidden" in private multi-million dollar Condominium complex in Kaanapali Beach. Expect to wait however as obviously people have a way to find it. Fish is excellent and Hula Pie a must to cap off your meal (Recommend sharing as huge).

Has anyone at Dukes ever had a customer service training? What a disappointment. Like many of Dukes customers we recently stayed at the Hanua Kai resort. It was our first night in paradise so we filled some plastic glasses from our rooms had a little salsa and went to the beach for sunset. Just after sunset we headed over to... More
