We were in town for a conference and needed more than the continental breakfast provided or the overprized hotel food. What a find! (Thanks guys at the check in desk.) Had breakfast on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. Fantastic, amazing huevos rancheros. I added carnitas and gluten-free corn tortillas. Delicious. The enchiladas were great too. Won't need to eat for a while. A great find in the downtown area. Service was prompt and friendly. Five stars for a great diner/breakfast spot

Quaint and comfortable best describes this diner. You will not be disappointed with the food. Expect a little wait outside in the busy season. Prices are reasonable but higher than diners off the island. Servers are polite and personable.

Wilma's Patio is a lovely, warm, and comfortable eatery. Clean, bright, and inviting dining areas with even a small patio available should you wish to fine outdoors. In a nutshell: very nice people serving very good food very well! The menu is rather extensive with breakfast available all day. Mexican influenced options are quick tempting. More standard menu options abound... More

We had brunch at Wilma's Patio on February 3, 2015 at a friend's suggestion. We were NOT disappointed. They have every kind of breakfast dish you might want. Split the pancakes. They are plate size and three come in an order. It is not fancy, but nicely presented. Wait staff extremely pleasant. Prices were reasonable as well. They also serve lunch... More

Good portions I can't deny, but over priced indeed. My poached egg came with water around it, not drained/dried properly, in a hurry due to the volume and crowed are waiting in lines. come back again? No.

OK food, nothing to write home about. Holindase sauce on Eggs Benedict was from a mix and tasted like chicken gravy, staff thought it was best ever tasted, they need to get out more. Homemade cornbread was good. Pancakes fair. Cornbeef hash ok, I asked if it was homemade and they said they added potatoes to corned beef meat, I... More

Best breakfast quesadia I ever had. Filled with eggs, cheese salsa. Hot, and delicious. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff and coffee cup filled when it hit half-full.

Amelia's is to the place for a romantic dinner. Ciao is the spot for the 20's to 40's crowd (if you like it loud). The Village Inn has a bar, but Wilma's is hands down the best spot to take the family. The menu is varied enough to satisfy the pickiest kid or grandmother.

Whenever we visit our family in Corona del Mar, we plan at least one breakfast at Wilma's Patio. We've been going there for years and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is great and the location on Balboa Island is convenient. Parking can be tricky on weekends but we always manage to find something.... More
