Over the past week, we had breakfast at Wilma's twice. The breakfast was hardy and I believe priced fairly. I recommend giving it a try when on the Island.

Oh Boy!! We loved this place and will return again and again! We put our name in at the hostess station and found a place to sit on one of the many benches along the street. Great for people watching, so the time flew by! We started with a mimosa and a bloody Mary. That sure set the tone! Then... More

There are not many breakfast places on Balboa Island, but this one is a must go. Big portions (may split) nice setting just a block from the water. A) walk around the island. B) have breakfast C) relax somewhere along the water (take extra coffee TO GO) Recommended MeuterMedia

The service was so good, so friendly and the food was wonderful. I was leery of the "homespun" atmosphere at first and quickly go over my fear. The food was some of the best I have had. Excellent fish and chips. Our party also loved the pancakes, milkshakes and burgers.

We were recommended to visit here on our way to San Diego from LA. We loved the surroundings as we had to wait 15 minutes for a table we went for a walk/wheel along the beach. I am in a wheelchair but the walk was absolutely pleasurable, the sun was shining and we were people watching. We got back to... More

Took the ferry and walked downtown to Wilma's for Dinner. It was about 7 PM on a Thursday evening. Not very crowded but doing a decent business. We were seated immediately and the wait staff was prompt with water, and took our drink orders followed by our dinner orders. Dinner rolls were brought out, they were hot and yummy. Wait... More
