We ate breakfast at Wilma’s Patio. Perhaps our expectations were too great, because we were disappointed. We had the white scramble with peppers and cheese and the Italian Bomber, which is simply another scramble placed between two pieces of French bread. The meals came with potatoes or fruit. Everything was ok and a lot to eat, but nothing great. While... More

Went here for lunch on August 26. Sat on the outdoor section. My wife had the fish and chips and loved it. I had the burger and it was good. Not outstanding but good. Prices were very reasonable by California standards. The locals said to go here for lunch and we did. I would give it another go. Try the... More

Great place to bring a family. We had 13 with all ages from grandparents to young children. All had a good time and enjoyed the food. It was very reasonably priced (especially considering that the place in on Balboa Island). Would eat here again. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Over the past week, we had breakfast at Wilma's twice. The breakfast was hardy and I believe priced fairly. I recommend giving it a try when on the Island.

Oh Boy!! We loved this place and will return again and again! We put our name in at the hostess station and found a place to sit on one of the many benches along the street. Great for people watching, so the time flew by! We started with a mimosa and a bloody Mary. That sure set the tone! Then... More

There are not many breakfast places on Balboa Island, but this one is a must go. Big portions (may split) nice setting just a block from the water. A) walk around the island. B) have breakfast C) relax somewhere along the water (take extra coffee TO GO) Recommended MeuterMedia

The service was so good, so friendly and the food was wonderful. I was leery of the "homespun" atmosphere at first and quickly go over my fear. The food was some of the best I have had. Excellent fish and chips. Our party also loved the pancakes, milkshakes and burgers.
