We make a dinner stop here every year. We mix up our drinks before we go and ask for ice. Seafood is great. Less expensive than other places.

Unique dining experience! You order the food at the kitchen counter and eat your meal on her front porch. Barbara Rosa's fish and chips were the best single food item we had on our trip to Culebra. The grouper was also delicious. Would definitely recommend wearing lots of bug spray if you go at dinner time - we got eaten... More

My husband and I are in Culebra for our honeymoon. We researched for months about places on the island we HAD to go to, we've been to most and this has to moved to #1. Wonderful woman, wonderful cook, amazing service. Awesome.

You walk up to the kitchen counter, order, sit at a candlelit table on the patio and return for your food. The woman who commands the restaurant cooks up great meals but I thought the portions were small for the price (not a great value). That said, she does a good job.

Barbara Rosa's is very simple -- perfect for us on a budget. Great food (try her fish), and it's BYOB, which helps keep the cost down. Run by a really wonderful couple -- the husband (James?) came out to talk to us and gave us all kinds of insider tips on Culebra.

You eat in the front porch of Barbara Rose' s house. She will cook for you, but you have to be your own server. Place the order, take your own wine,(she doesn't have a liquor license) she will call you when is ready, get your food to your own table. When you are finish, take the dirty dishes to her... More

We had read about Barbara Rosa's restaurant and were delighted to find that it was open on the day of our arrival. We stopped by to check menu and hours of operation for the day. We had the pleasure of meeting Barbara and decided to go back for dinner in the evening. We returned with beers in hand to keep... More
