Great experience

The food here was fresh and simply prepared. It is understandably slow as the owner is doing all cooking and serving herself. Eating on the porch was pleasant (The mosquitos weren't bad when we were there, but it's worth bringing bug spray.) It's BYOB, which makes the already reasonable prices... read more

If you see the 'Open' sign stop in immediately! Don't come back later, because it might not be open and you will miss out on some really amazing cooking! Barbara is a wonderfully friendly lady who you can talk to while she cooks in her kitchen. There are only a few tables and chairs on the front porch that fill... More

We ordered the grouper, large piece of fish cooked to perfection, moist and tasty!!! Came with salad and potato wedges which were also delicious. You can bring your own alcohol, we will next time. Thank you Barbara Rosa for an excellent meal.

I'll never understand why this place isn't rated in the top three. Barb is a great cook, and the prices are affordable. Put in your order at the counter, wait at your table until she calls your name, pick up your meal. When you are done return your plate and they pay for your meal. Bring your own beverages. There... We had a delicious fresh grouper dinner here. It came with homemade French fries & a salad. Dinner for 2 came to $30 without the tip. It was a fabulous fresh dinner here. Better than most of the other restaurants in town that charge twice as much! We will definitely be back.

we were referred to Barbara Rossa's by Maureen and Cliff at Casa Resaca. And we were not disappointed! You enter her house via her large front porch, then through her Living Room to a window//pass-thru into her kitchen. There in the kitchen is the lovely and talented Barbara Rossa, preparing dinner unaided, for as many guests as can fit at... More

Because the owner does the cooking and there is no wait staff, prices are very reasonable. There is a good selection - grouper and seafood stroganoff are our favorites. When she-crab and pumpkin soup are available, both are heavenly. The outdoor seating is cozy, covered with low walls - protects from sun and rain. There can be mosquitos, but spray... More

We make a dinner stop here every year. We mix up our drinks before we go and ask for ice. Seafood is great. Less expensive than other places.

Unique dining experience! You order the food at the kitchen counter and eat your meal on her front porch. Barbara Rosa's fish and chips were the best single food item we had on our trip to Culebra. The grouper was also delicious. Would definitely recommend wearing lots of bug spray if you go at dinner time - we got eaten... More
