We had been eating breakfast every day at Vibra Verde (Spectacular!) but one day we were going on a catamaran trip and needed to grab something for breakfast before Vibra Verde opened and went to Pan Deli. I wanted to leave the minute we walked in...hot, humid inside and millions of flies everywhere!!! It was disgusting! We waited forever in... More

Worst experience in Culebra. On Monday morning went to Pandeli about 10:00 am. After pay for one order of scramble eggs and wait about 45 minutes for my food I ask the lady that was attending the counter about the delay, she told me,in a very rude manner, didnt have eggs!!!

Most mornings you can expect to wait 10-15 minutes in line to place your order. If you order a breakfast, expect another 15-20 minutes. Your coffee will be cold or gone by the time your food comes. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of choices in the area. Service might be a tad better if the kids behind the counter took... More

My family and I stumbled upon this place while on vacation and to our suprise,it was fantastic! We didn't expect how many breakfast options they had and at reasonable prices! The guys at the counter were all extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure our party of 9 had everything we needed. If you want just... More

Generally, I find PR and Cuban bakeries to be glorious places with wonderful breads and sweets pastry. Pan Deli is very average. . . nothing special. It's a walk up type service with limited pastries, donuts, and a variety of sandwiches and beverages. My simple egg and cheese sandwich took probably 20 minutes. I must say the cheese casitos were... On the outside you might think the food wont be any good, but I can assure you, they will give you your order exactly how you order it. Their breads and sandwiches are spectacular. They even had wheat bread and sold me 1/2 a pound of it. They have a variety of things to order for breakfast, lunch and kid's... More

You don't go here for the atmosphere, but the Cubanos and the baked goods are terrific. I always try to grab at least one Cubano each trip; bring it to the beach and dig in. It may take a few minutes to get your order but it is worth the wait.

We enjoyed sampling several items from the case, opting to purchase several for breakfast one morning. We did not try their sandwiches or breakfasts however. They do sell loaves of pan de agua (french bread) but you have to ask. Parking is available on the north side of the building as the street parking can be tight.
