Best Bar Tender in the BVI!

Only had drinks here but the bar tender (sorry I cant remember his name) can wait on 30 or 40 folks at one time and still spot you in the back of the crowd trying to close out your tab! Simply unbelievable!

This is a must do if you are in white bay. The pain killer is the drink of the BVI and it started here. Simple ocean front bar. Counter service. Order and they call you when your food is ready. Laid back.

The atmosphere alone should be enough to rate this excellent! Luckily enough, there us more. The staff was so friendly both at the bar and gift shop. Even the patrons noticed the excellent service and we're discussing among others. Drinks and menu were wonderful! We look forward to going back!

Of course we hit the Soggy Dollar on a Saturday afternoon of BVI bar hopping by boat. Can't add much other than was it a bit more touristy and congested than other stops? Sure, but gotta love anchoring off shore and swimming up the beach -- and then swimming back without spilling your recently purchased Painkiller.

By day the Soggy Dollar is hopping with day trippers. By night it becomes a fine restaurant. Great food and excellent service all in a wonderful setting.

Went to the beach in the afternoon with our boat. Spent some time in the bar and adjacent shop, which are both great. Beach is an aquelarre with lots of people looking for fun. The place became really nice after sunset (we decided to have dinner at the Sandcastle restaurant, adjacent to the bar).

Way too many drunks and trash. It boggles my mind that there is a line at the bar almost all the time for watered down, small, expensive drinks. Take a walk down the beach to jewels for a fantastic rum punch from a great lady, or head to one love for a bushwhacker.

We arrived via cruise ship into Tortola/Road Town. Selected the "Escape to Jost Van Dyke" excursion that was offered. We took the Rebel Yell power catamaran (it is about a 45 min ride on the boat each way from Tortola/Road Town port over to Jost Van Dyke/White Bay). The captain pulled us right up on the beach in front of... More

Yes we enjoyed the "Home of the Painkiller". Arrived by boat, and our first thought was we could just stay at this beautiful beach all day! Now top it off with the Soggy Dollar Bar....! could have stay all day! Look forward to returning!

Soggy Dollar bar is definitely a must see and do while on at the British virgin islands. You will definitely get wet as there are no docs to get to the sandy beach which leads to the bar. The water is crystal blue, the sand is super soft, and the scenery is un parallel. We had a great time and... More
