Neat little place to hang out for a bit, Its more of a BVI bucket list destination nothing special just a place to grab a Painkiller.

We stopped at the soggy dollar for lunch and stayed for hours!! The food was very good but the atmosphere of this place is what Island life is all about. My wife and I didn't have a care in the world as we soaked up the sun on the beach and enjoyed our lunch with 200 of our new friends.... More

What happens when you bring together narrow-minded and, dare I posit, possibly inbred inhabitants of a 3 mile island (now, there's a pun) with classless wet-brained tourists? Jost Van Dyke. I pick on the Soggy Dollar because it was the worst offender of my five day stay. I should have known when a fistfight broke out between mother and daughter... More

Great ambiance, sometimes a little rowdy when large boats/tours show up - but once they leave it's back to a wonderful relaxing place to hang out and enjoy the best drink on the planet - painkillers!

I've now been to the BVI's twice, and both times, White Bay and the Soggy Dollar Bar have been my favorite stop. The beach is BEAUTIFUL, the painkillers are plentiful. Just beware, they'll get you fast. Get there early as moorings fill up fast, relax, and enjoy!

When we came here a year and a half ago we came by boat. This time we stayed on the island and was able to walk to Soggy Dollar and visit it several times during our stay. You can't beat watching Mic pour up the Painkillers 15+ at a time. Best souvenir merchandise on the island!

Imagine yourself sipping painkillers or rum punch on a beautiful beach , watching beautiful people coming off their boats! The bar was unique and fun. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at the sandcastle hotel. The food was excellent, as was the ambience.

Food is good...but the real thrill is that this is where the drink "painkiller" originated sea side bar with no dockage...so everyone has to swim in from their boats...thus the name some of the real small cruise ships do land on the island and will taxi their folks over...but it's mostly folks on private sail boats the menu is limited... This bar was something extraordinary. The location with the beach just a few meter away is amazing. Its famous and recommended painkiller was very good. If you are nearby the soggy dollar bar I recommend you to visit it. I would absolutely recommend you to stay on the beach as well to swim in the clear blue and warm water.... More
