Best Painkiller on the island... Great atmosphere. A must do when in the BVI..... Laid back and just roll with it, that's what island life is all about.

If you are I the USVI this us a must. JVD, BVI SOGGY DOLLAR. Swim A shore purchase a painkiller, an appetizer or two, grab a few souvenir tees, pay with those soggy dollars. Can't wait to go back. Leaving on a jet plane in 10 days!

I've heard about this place for years but on this trip to JVD, we finally made time to stop in. We arrived and the place was crazy, people everywhere, parties and lines for everything. Near the end of the day the place clears quickly, which was a perfect time to catch a nap in one of the many hammock. Of... More

If you are sailing in the BVI's this is a must stop. Buy a T-shirt and a painkiller! As far as beach bars...this is it!

Definitely worth stopping here to drop anchor and have a drink or 4. People watching during the day. We were staying here as well and enjoyed great dinners.

It is sad to see such a beautiful beach such as this in Jost Van Dyke completely destroyed by a frat like bar such as Soggy Dollar. My wife and I bought a hat there for our son, just because we wanted to have something from Jost Van Dyke, but I have to admit that we both didn't want to... More

I visited in the end if July. It was way more busy usual. Awesome for the most beautiful place on earth. Bar tender....life of the party and the man! I can't wait to be back. Needed more staff for how busy it was though. Thank god for the ring game

This was my third visit to the Soggy Dollar Bar and was just as amazing as ever. This is still my favorite beach bar in the world. It seems to be getting busier every time I go, so I hope I've just been going on off days and won't continue like this as it is an amazing view from the... More

My boyfriend and I visited Soggy Dollar in late July 2015. We were previously there in November of 2014, and we're expecting the same laid back, gorgeous and fairly quiet place. We couldn't have been more disappointed! This time the Puerto Rican "Christmas in July" holiday was going on, and the place was overrun with wealthy PR residents who pulled... More

We visited at the end of a day-long boat tour and had some pain killers ($6 when we went) while lounging on the beach. It's got a spring break bar type of feel with a fun shop attached.
