Heard about this spot from friends and food network - VERY touristy spot. Beach and water are awesome, but the actual spot was just ok and way overpriced. Wouldn't go again.

I thought I was going to a secluded beach to relax, and was wrong! it took 15 minutes to order, and the workers were really in no hurry to get the line moving. We went back and ate somewhere else.

It was nice to visit the origin of famous "painkillers: cozy beach bar, crystal clear water, white sand, palm trees! all you need for a relaxing day on the beach.

It was nice to try the famous bar. The island it is on is so pretty and nice to take a walk and sit after getting a drink at the bar. Loved how clear the water was and seeing this breathtaking island.

Took a short cab ride from boat doc. However, some people were walking. it is a 30 min walk over a steep hill. Once there, white sand , blue water and lots of beverages. There specialty was a painkiller, very good ones at that.

This is a simple beach restaurant, nothing fancy to look at, but we had a truly excellent meal (which we ordered in advance). I had scallops pasta which was quite delicious and although I can't remember what my friends ate, I know they loved it too. Great atmosphere, wonderful Painkillers! Was very busy over the weekend with loud daytrippers (who... More

What a fun place to go and have a drink. We took a cat over to Jost Van Dyke and had drinks. It was so much fun.

Everything that is unique and wonderful about the Virgin Islands is magnified in this location. Beautiful beach, people and of course painkillers. Food is definitely not the draw, but that isn't why people flock to Jost.
