This was our final stop on a catamaran cruise, and what a finale! We had to walk in water or swim to the beach, hence the soggy dollar...the bluest water and whitest beach I'd ever seen! This is where the pain killer was invented and by far the best I had on our entire trip! The only bad thing... read more

Grate place one of the best I have ever been. No big frills… and none needed. The water, food, drink and people are enough. Will go back again if I ever get the chance!! Don't drink too many Pain Killers! They are really good though!!

An absolute MUST on Jost Van Dyke is a trip to the Soggy Dollar for a Painkiller! This was recommended by our cruise ship captain and it was a great recommendation. It is one of the busiest bars on the island but worth the wait. Enjoyed sharing a table with some great folks and had a wonderful time. Do not... More

Spent the afternoon on the beach here, right in front of the Soggy Dollar. We ate some cheeseburgers, fries, conch fritters, and roti. They were very busy and we had to wait an hour for our food, but it was very good when we got it. Also the drinks are tasty and cold! Beautiful setting here, although all the boats... More

Great beach, grass umbrellas that make you want to drink rum or something else fun, on White Bay but just a short cab ride from Great Harbour. Very nice hats and t-shirts, classy ones.

What an amazing place! The water is crystal clear and a shade of turquoise you can't even believe exists in nature. A great place to moor and have a drink. Nice selections in the gift shop as well.

Day boaters paradise. Great food. Cold drinks. Friendly, crazy service! Still lives up to its reputation. Good gift shop.

We took an excursion from the NCL Escape on Feb 3rd, 2016, and loved this beach and bar. Friendly folks, beach, and drinks. The painkiller is a must.

The above title pretty much summed it up for me. The allure of this place is that you must swim (not wade) in from a boat. Then..even worse...you must swim back to your boat AFTER you've had one of their "famous" painkillers. And of course you must buy a T-shirt. However the line for that was prohibitive when we were...
