As with other reviewers, as soon as we'd moored, Cynthia came out in here boat to great us and give us a sample menu (as did Sydney). We went to the bar in the afternoon and Cynthia made us very welcome (more Painkillers) and even showed us a fantastic snorkelling point round the back of the restaurant. We went back... More

We picked up a mooring ball in Little Harbor and were greeted shortly by Cynthia in her runabout. She was extremely friendly as we gave her our order for dinner. We had eaten at Sydney's Peace and Love previously but wanted to give Hariss' Place a try. Ms. Cynthia cooked us five of the best lobsters we have ever had!... More

Many years ago we were fortunate to have visited Sydney's Peace and Love Restaurant in Little Harbor, Jost Van Dyke, BVI. and tried Caribbean Lobster for the first time. It was such a fantastic meal, the freshest of lobster grilled to perfection and slathered with melted butter and splashed with fresh lime juice. So our hope was to return again... More

Cynthia Harris Jones served a fine simple meal. Her drinks are guaranteed to be the best in the BVI or they are free! How can it be any better? Have dined with Cynthia a few times since 1999 and never been disappointed. The lobster is so fresh that you can order it in the morning and she will have it... More

Cynthia came out our boat and was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us free mooring and first round of drinks free for eating at her place. We were given a menu and it looked good. The entree's came with soup and salad. The menu stated that the night we were there, that there wasBBQ buffet for $35 or 1plate... More

When we initially went ashore to check the restaurants out the lady at Harris's behind the counter offered us free mooring if we ate there. She was full of smiles & so inviting promising the best meal ever! When we went to eat the service was terrible, so slow & food was not available from the menu. Not a great... More

I suppose we were warned by some of the recent reviews. They make a big effort to make you feel welcome and it's a lovely spot. BUT the main event is the lobster and, despite it looking large and beautiful, it was dry, stringy and tough as old boots. How you can destroy lobster like this I have no idea... More

We are regular bareboat charterers in the Caribbean but had never been at Harris' Place. After reading all the reviews, we were really looking forward to huge succulent lobster with the warm welcome of Cynthia. We wrote to Cynthia ahead of time to make sure she'd be there on March 26th, and to ask for the famous lobster bisque. We... More

Both times we have visited JVD, we had our best dinner at Harris'. I recommend the lobster and the Bushwackers. Cynthia is wonderful!

Sorry Cynthia - but all the charm in the world cannot cover terribly cooked food. Having read the reviews on Trip Advisor I booked a table at Harris's Place for dinner while sailing in the BVI. We moored the boat in Little Harbour and went ashore for dinner. Dinner is a fixed price depending on your main course. It comes... More
