Only for the experience, not for the food

My husband and I went to Foxy's for lunch yesterday. A few days ago, we went to Foxy's Taboo (that my husband already knew about), so we would like to compare both restaurants. Foxy's is bigger (even huge). It is VERY popular, so this is why everybody wants to go there. To me, it was more like a... read more

Tom Hanks wishes there was a place like Foxy's when he was stranded on an island! Food is good and the bar scene hopping. The pain killers here are a must. However, be sure to bring a memento to leave behind, ie old t shirt, stickers, license plate etc. Great place to leave your mark.

On our recent cruise the captain let some tenders go in to Foxy's for a late night stop. Since we've been to JVD many times but never got to Foxy's, and had heard so much about it we had to go this time. Well, now that is off our "to do" list. Foxy's is bigger than I expected, so-so drinks,... More

I have eaten here many times and have had same great parties here too! However as the food goes it's not the best and for some of the bar staff!! You could be waiting a long time to be served and don't rush them they might just give bit! So in short, the music is great!!

We were with a very large group at Foxy's. The place is named for the owner, who made a brief appearance at the restaurant. Due to the size of the group we had a buffet lunch. The food was excellent - the ribs were to die for and the fish was great. I didn't have the barbecued chicken but those... More

We had such a great time at Foxy's. It was everything we expected. The food was really good and drinks exceptional. Our bartender and server were great. Lots of laughs and stories to tell. The view is excellent and you can walk back to the ferry dock from there. We arrived at the dock that morning, took a taxi over... More

We enjoyed the unique environment -- open air bar with license plates, t-shirts, etc. hanging from the ceiling; fun waiters; island drinks; good food; and great reggae music and dancing!

I have to admit that I have been here multiple times and I don't really understand what the fuss is about. It is a decent place on a great beach but nothing super special. If you have a chance to run into or listen to Foxy it might be a different story but there are better places to go for... More

Foxy's is just a tourist trap now - nothing special. We have sailed the BVI's seven or eight times and always make sure to visit the infamous Foxy's. This year (Jan. 2015) we were so disappointed in the lack luster, don't give a darned attitude of the place. For starters, Foxy, why don't you at least make a token effort... More
