nice dinner nice location

Dinner for four on a Saturday night. Filet cooked just right, tuna also cooked as ordered, both dishes were very good. The mixed seafood served in a broth was a generous portion, but the broth was not special which detracted from the overall enjoyment. The crab cake sandwich was very good served... read more

We were there for a Friday night dinner. We had just arrived in town and did not have a reservation, hence we ate in the dining room instead of on the deck. There was no "view" from our table. The food was very good. The desserts were decadent.

Great lunch choices, great service, lots of smiles! Fried green tomato sandwich unique and delicious, will definitely order again. This was our first visit, loved being right on the water. Inside and outside seating. Great location! Owner gracious and very interested in seeing guests happy, love this place!

We plan to eat at Mallards EVERY time we drive north or south on the Eastern Shore. The view is exceptional and the fish tacos are to DIE FOR. On our most recent August trip, our waitress (Jamie) was INCREDIBLE! We'll be back on our next trip north.

The band was playing on the deck as we walked up. They were a local group who fused bluegrass and some classic rock into a sound that had everyones toes a tappin. Ashley greeted us very soon after the hostess seated us and informed us about the specials for the evening. She took our drink order and gave us some... More

Great service, food was pretty good. At least they had Great Divide IPA. Outside seating and bar area is very small and cramped. Only two tables are actually water front.

BEST hamburger in the state! We had reservations and were seated at the time of our reservations - service was prompt - a friend had the mussels - she said they were excellent -

We had an amazing lunch on the water here. I order the "all crab" crab cake and it was probably the best I have ever had. It came served on top a salad which I thought was unusual but it was perfect! If I had known how good it was going to be, I would have opted for less salad... More

Dinner Saturday night was awesome. Sat at a table outside by the water. Shared appetizer of mussels that were delicious. Tuna entree was cooked perfect. Our server Kellie was the best. The cook Johnny Mo is amazing.

Having seen their sign on the highway we decided to take a detour from our trek home and stop for a late lunch. The surrounding area was charming an we thought that would reflect on the quality of the restaurant, we were soon proven wrong. The potions were minuscule and far from filling, the balsamic vinaigrette was pre bottled and... More

Hello. My name is Johnny Mo. I am the chef and owner Mallards at the wharf. I am very dissapointed to hear about your poor experience recently. We strive to educate and train our staff about menu options and beverage choices. Unfortunately it appears the server you had was not up to par. I am truly sorry for that. As... More
