The Blarney Stone Pub is a lovely Irish Pub. We are located in the quaint, water town of Onancock, Virginia, next to the DMV. Established in 2004, we have been catering to locals and visitors for a decade. Our chef prepares daily specials and offers classic favorites, like our hand-dipped fish and chips, bangers and mash and shepherd's pie. If what you are looking for is some local flavor, look no further. Our steamed clams and Portabella Chesapeake are sure to delight. The next time you visit Onancock, be sure to stop by. We went to a couple of other restaurants while staying close by Onancock and Blarney Stone was by far the best. I had two appetizers, wings & sliders, my husband had the fish & chips and my son had the shepherd's pie. All three of us were very pleased with our meals. Only one IPA to be had but I... read more

First off, excellent food...best fish & chips. Terrible service. Established waitress too busy chatting with regulars to take our order. Then argued whether salad had dressing on it..told us it was lightly dressed. The plate was dry..so it must have just been waved near the dressing as there was none on the plate or the spinach. Even after she brought... More

I feel a need to support the server in question. I won't make any excuses for your experience but I will say we were dealing with multiple issues that day and your comments are not something we like to hear. The regular customers you mentioned had stopped the server to ask about the post-operative condition of one of our long... More

Went for lunch on a Saturday....place was jumping with people...Good sign, right? Had by far the best Reuben panini ever....ever! Almost couldn't eat it all...but I did😎. Neat old pub with good service and good atmosphere. Can't wait for my next trip through this area!

We have eaten at the Blarney Stone Pub on several occasions and have always enjoyed our meals. The waitservers/bartenders are very nice and eager to answer any questions about the menu. We love their bangers and mash and their soups...best around. Go....try different items....and you'll keep coming back.

My long-time fellow teacher friend and I visited Onancock for a "girls' day out" to see Ker Place and visit the quaint stores. When we asked around about restaurants for lunch, "The Pub" kept being mentioned, so we decided we'd try it. Wonderful food - we both had the Portobello mushroom topped with crab imperial - and a funny, personable... More

We went here with family for lunch, and weren't disappointed. Fish and chips, burgers, shrimp po boy, and turkey clubs all prepared to perfection. Outstanding service as well. We'll definitely go back again!

Thank you so much for your 5 star review!! Our chef and staff work very hard to give our customers the best experience. We find it so frustrating to have people say they love the food, the service and the atmosphere and then give us a 4 out of 5. We appreciate your kind words of encouragement and support and... More

Burgers and more, but I like a fresh hand patted all beef burger. The Blarney stone offers just such a juicy hot burger with awesome waffle fries. Friendly waitstaff , located in that beautiful town of Onancock.. worth leaving route 13.

We came in after a hot, slow sail across the bay. Lots of beers, big portions of good pub food, the bill for the 4 of us was about $100. Friendly attentive staff, plenty to choose from on the menu.

I love going to the Blarney Stone for their quick service, healthy portions, and friendly staff. I also love going for their half-priced bottles of wine on Wednesday's. I enjoyed sitting outside on a recent evening and my waitress, I believe Lee Ann, was the best waitress I've ever had!
