We were in town for a quick overnight and LOVED the pub. Right off the main street, the pub opened for lunch around noon. We arrived on Saturday evening at 5:30pm and had dinner with the pub owners. The pub is a traditional irish pub complete with handmade stained glass above the bar and in the windows. The drinks were... More

Shepard's Pie is a dish made with Lamb meat. This is a bad version of a good Irish Dish. Very expensive Hamburger Pie.

We had a great meal with a Guiness. We had tuna and salmon. Well prepared and presented. Enjoyed talking to the chef.

all Irish Pubs are good, but this one is outstanding. Stopped in for a beer (what else?) at a big long bar and immediately made a bunch of new friends. Can also recommend the calamari, yes, that's right, the calamari. don't missit

Always consistently good, friendly, and excellent fish and chips.. Day we were there they ran out of fries, seems to me you could go to the store and buy some...Oh well. Lunch is better than dinner IMO. Decent draft selection, although I'm not a fan of the apple cider trend on tap. Calamari is fabulous!!!

One would not be convinced that Onancock is a sleepy Eastern Shore town based on the activity at The Blarney Stone Pub. This is a great place to enjoy a meal, a drink, and have a fun evening. The food is very good, the service pleasant and efficient, and the atmosphere comfortably casual. If you are looking for a good... More

Casual, friendly, great food, generous portions, fine value, friendly service, lively clientele...three (senior, well-traveled) sisters on annual getaway loved this place!

We chose the Blarney Stone for bite to eat a little later in the evening that usual. We had been to a restaurant in Onancock the night before and saw the pub from across the street and figured at 9:00 p.m. in this quiet part of the Eastern Shore it was probably one of the few places that would still... This pub has always been one of our favorite places to dine. The quality of the food is normally consistently outstanding. The service is always friendly making you feel like you are with family. Unfortunately this was not the case at our last visit. I am so hoping that this was just a one time anomaly and doesn't occur again.... More

Onancock seems like a very quiet little place with not much going on. I was surprised by how packed The Blarney Stone was, but it was a Friday night. Have a Red-Headed Stepchild with your crab cakes, which were on special the night I went in there. Food's great, service is great. Don't miss it.
