This lady works from a small van in the car park in Scaranish. Great service and food provided. Pies were just out of the oven when we visited and are to be recommended.

Try the smoked haddock pies, very good. The burgers are very tasty and Elaine is a mine of local information.

A really great 'fast food' Tiree style! The lady here was so quick, given we arrived at 'busy time'!! Food freshly cooked and when there wasn't quite enough rice for Andy's Chicken she gave him a wee pokie of chips as an extra! My fish supper was the best I have had EVER!! Absolutely worth a visit:)

Home made carry out food and served by a very, very nice person in the centre of Tiree. It is a welcome change to eat (good) home made food at a take-away and not the usual "frozen-chuck-it-in-a-deep-fat-fryer" type of take out. I had a home made pie and a home made donut ..... both were great!

This business is now run out of scarinish car park from a red van. This is, I believe, down to the previous premises needing much costly alteration to meet new rules an regs in the catering department. Anyway, the lady chef is still at the helm and still providing high quality restaurant produce just from a van. There are tables... More

Visited this restaurant a while ago now ((last summer). The food was excellent, filling and hearty. Fish pie to die for and puddings to kill for!

We were on Tiree for a week and tried most of the restaurants and hotels. Elephant's End was definitely the best and we went here twice. Food was really excellent - local crab, argyll venison, mussels - all really well cooked. Service very friendly. I'd recommend making a reservation - it was full both nights we went. Elaine and her crew deserve congratulations on the surroudings, ambience and of course, the meal itself. Between courses you can amuse yourself counting the elephants.
