At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Situated just off the beaten track in Woking, this restaurant is worth going out of your way for. The relaxed ambiance and open plan kitchen is ideal for intimate lunches or dining out with friends, and the large outside area gives it a Mediterranean feel. But the most interesting part about this restaurant isn’t the look or feel, it’s the people. Every year, Italian villagers come to Chobham Common to pick mushrooms and always stop by to say hi. Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.

Better than the one opposite

This is opposite another pizza establishment that's better well known but this is the one I'd pick. More reasonable prices for a smarter restaurant and similar quality food.

This is a great place to dine and with friends and family. I went out with the girls the other night and as always we had a fantastic evening. The food was tasty, the service nice and friendly and the atmosphere very enjoyable. I booked the table online and a week after I had an email from Zizzi with some... More

I have been to Zizzi on many occasions both in Woking and at other branches. This time I noticed some interesting menu changes and the food did not disappoint. Not just pizzas and pasta but many other options. We were a group of 14 aged from 11 to 79 and all ages found something they enjoyed. I was disappointed that... More

We went on Easter Monday evening and it was pretty quiet so no problem with getting a table despite not booking. We have been a few times before and it's always OK. between the four us we enjoyed vegetarian pizza, the hot pizza (can't recall its name) and the giant meatball special - all good. The service was friendly and... More

Went here with my Mum. We were greeted immediately and with a smile. The menu is reasonably priced. Lots to choose from. Always good. I have been here with my daughter who is a vegan. As food is cooked to order they are very pleased to change ingredients for dietary requirements. We shared a bottle of wine and had calzones... More

My daughter and I went for lunch. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was good. We had calzone. They were large and tasty. We then had the chocolate torte. Delicious. Not cheap, but we had a token for a third off mains. The bill came to just over £40 for the two of us, including a bottle... More

Location is a bit out of the way, but worth finding. A warm welcome to a chain restaurant with a local and individual feel, serving well presented and prepared food at a reasonable price. Well worth the visit. I have visited other Zizzis and I like the food, so this was an easy choice for me. I was visiting Woking... More

My friend and I went here for a meal and to catch up with all our gossip. From the moment I walked in I did not like the atmosphere of the restaurant, we had booked a table but needn't have bothered. I was overwhelmed by the menu, too much choice and overpriced. The waitress we had at first was very... More

Went here on Saturday night and it was packed, so very impressed with how quickly we were served and our food and drinks were brought to us. Food was good and the service was excellent. The staff are very friendly, especially Elaine our waitress.

The service was great, staff were friendly but the food was utterly tasteless. The new broad bean chips are dry and tasteless, the marguerita pizza was huge but a mattering of sauce, with a token of cheese made it effectively eating dry slightly flavored pizza base. The calzone pollo picante was so tasteless that I struggled to eat half of... More
