Price range: $17 - $42
Cuisines: Italian
Dining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Reservations, Late Night
Description: At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Situated just off the beaten track in Woking, this restaurant is worth going out of your way for. The relaxed ambiance and open plan kitchen is ideal for intimate lunches or dining out with friends, and the large outside area gives it a Mediterranean feel. But the most interesting part about this restaurant isn’t the look or feel, it’s the people. Every year, Italian villagers come to Chobham Common to pick mushrooms and always stop by to say hi. Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.

Booked on trip advisor the night before which was very easy :-) the restaurant was very quiet when we were there which can sometimes make for an uncomfortable atmosphere but the staff were very friendly and it felt like eating at a friends house. The food was delicious..not your usual run of the mill Italian just a little bit different.... More

We visited Zizzi's for a quick lunch as it is generally dependable and it is difficult to muck up pasta /pizza. The food was fine and the service was good however the portion's were essentially starter sized. If you divide a pasta dish into three parts - the outer rim, the inner rim and the bottom then the seafood risotto... More

Lovely restaurant for pizza/pasta/salad with a friendly and helpful staff! Good choice of wine and drinks. Super salad was fabulous as well as a good choice of appetizers. Great for families too.

We had a family get-together here last weekend and the whole experience was great. Food superb, not overly-expensive and very friendly waiting staff.Food took a little while to come, but was well worth the wait. Try the Rustica Pizza's - they are fab! Range of ages in our party was 7 - 88 years so something for everyone!

We used to like Zizzi, it offered fresh quality food and that's why it stood out. A few months ago they cut down on the portions and the standard of food seemed to go down so we stopped going. We went back recently and after being crammed in and almost sitting with the people on the next table found that... More

The restaurant is located on Goldsworth Road in Woking, a short walk from the train station. The signboard isn’t very attractive and loud, but Zizzi is a well known brand which regulars will know once they spot the sign from afar. We had the Fritto Misto (small) to share, Skinny Pizza Pollo Piccante, Fish Stew and ended off with a... More

Went to Zizzi with friends from work. The restaurant was in a safe location and offered spacious seating, although not the most comfortable of chairs. The food was great, although if you are used to very hot (spicy) food, be sure to ask for extra Chilli when ordering your meal. Waitrons were very friendly and well mannered. Pizzas are quite... We booked for a weekday lunch to celebrate a birthday. On entry, the restaurant is attractive and the staff attentive. There is plenty of choice on the Menu and we had the Pizza gorgonzola special, lasagne and chicken followed by taramasiu or Ilalian bread and butter pudding, with Sicilian merlot as the wine. One of us had a 30% off main course... How bizarre - I'd already decided on the title before I saw that the previous review had already said the same! But it is, and I think that the pizzas are now better than those at PizzaExpress, they're crisper for one thing. Anyway, it was my birthday & Zizzi emailed me vouchers for a free bottle of prosecco (£22) and... More

Been here on three occasions now and never had a bad meal or experience. The menu has plenty to offer from a variety of starters (the arancini is great) including pasti sharers (the zizzi sharer offers a good mix of meats, olives, mozzarella). There's lots of pizza and pasta choices with many pizzas available on the larger rustica base, which... More
