Description: The Inn @ West End is located on the A322 just 3 miles from J3 of the M3 in the Guildford direction. It is an adult friendly food pub with a superb wine list. You can eat al fresco in the Summer or enjoy the atmosphere of a real fire in Winter. Although serving great restaurant food in a pub atmosphere, it is still a pub, with banter from the friendly regulars, and two real ales on hand pump. Children are welcome if dining with adults, but not under five and there is no childrens menu. The Inn is a special place and you will love it or hate it. There are many people who really love it!

We stopped here for lunch and were warmly welcomed. The place is quite cosy and has a good atmosphere. As it was sunny we chose to sit out in the nice garden which has plenty of shaded tables as well as full sun options! The food was excellent.....I chose the kedgeree dish which I love and it was prepared to... More

Dear Thomas, I am really sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit to The Inn and devastated that the service was poor. We all try very hard to make the Inn a hospitable place and that of course should include great service. I would love to know more details so we can address the issue. I can understand how you... Had lunch today with a 16 strong group of friends, with a set menu devised by the owner and the chef. The meal was one of the best I've had for years. Well done Gerry and the staff at the Inn

A real surprise at lunch today. I really don't care too much for venison but ordered it as everyone else at the table did and we had been told that the chef is a finalist for the best game chef of the year. It was stunning. Tender flavourful and cooked to perfection. Potted shrimp and crab to start and summer... More

Another great meal at a The Inn this time for my birthday. Their menu is constantly changing and consistently fresh and tasty. Something for everyone - and as all their food is cooked fresh to order they're always happy to adapt any dishes they're serving. Fantastic wine selection too.

I no longer live in England having moved to the USA twenty years ago. When I come back to visit family, I make a point to visit the Inn. This is my third visit and it just gets better. I had a spectacular asparagus soup and then a delicious selection of fish with perfectly prepared vegetables. By far this beats... More

Really good well cooked food and very well presented. The menu is seasonal with good choices. The risotto I had with samphire and asparagus was excellent. Good atmosphere and service. If in the area would visit again.

We have been to the restaurant two or three times and always had great food served by caring, attentive but not over familiar staff. The portion sizes are impressively large and the food has been quite traditional - but not in a bad way i.e. the menu is reasonably straight forward and easy to order from.

......and no Sky Sports either! Shame really, as newly qualified OAP's my wife and I were really looking forward to a go on the bouncy castle, before a burger 'n chips and a lager or two! ........instead, we passionate and experienced foodies met our equal in Gerry, the landlord, who not only served us the most beautiful fresh food, but...
