Hmmm I liked this pub, for the odd gin or two, but it seems there is a Landlord problem here. No management skills, if you don't like what someone is doing, take them to one side quietly, don't have a huge row in the pub for all to see. It would also seem that this is not an isolated event... More

All the girls behind the bar are very friendly, polite and a good laugh. The drinks are little over priced but all in all, this is the best pub in Byfleet.

I will be open from the open. I live in Byfleet Village and I have been proud to have a traditional pub here. I occasionally drink in the pub, grab a pint and then head out to the garden in the summer or off to a table in the winter. I went in last night with a couple of friends... More

Local village pub opposite the Green. Good selection of real ales on tap. Extended range of food always freshly cooked to order. Car park is very small but plenty of parking available on the other side of the Green. Warning that the address given above is misleading:- 104 High Road, Byfleet, Surrey, England.

When it closed for a week in the spring I feared it may become "gentrified", apart from a pale wood floor and some fresh paint it is much the same with a constantly changing range of real ales. New one to me was Church End "What the foxs hat" at 4.2, very pleasant. Dining conservatory at rear and small garden.... More

Booked a table for a Xmas dinner with colleagues: great food and music! Food was really good: puddings are the best ever! Good wine and live music on a Fri is a bonus! Service is brilliant!

Good real ale pub, and nice food, but lost its atmosphere this year, now there are new people running the place. TV in bar paying music is rubbish, and empty shelves above bar male it look like the pub with no drinks.
