Pretty Poor

I ate here twice this week due to staying at the adjacent hotel. This due to being tired and not fancying a walk down to the marina. I wish I'd taken the walk as some great restaurants down there. The first night I put the bad experience down to having the curry from the chefs corner which is... read more

Next door to the hotel, warmed up prepack food but prices okay. We stayed here due to location and I must admit it wasn't as bad as the reviews. I wouldn't choose here for a meal but as a stopover perfectly acceptable

I arrived at the adjacent hotel about 5pm on Sunday and having hit eaten all day saw they were serving a carvery here so I decided to pop in. You are meant to find a table then order at the bar giving them a table number. Every table was either reserved, occupied or hadn't been cleaned so I eventually found... More

Been here lots of times and each time is different, even portion sizes vary by a huge amount. We have had great experiences and very poor so don't come very often anymore. This time we had the all you can eat curry night, for food itself was really tasty and great value but they had no labels this time so... More

It was quite busy in mid afternoon but the service was not long - about 15 minutes. No issues with the the adult meals but the mash in the child's (small) meal was quite hard. Desserts were varied but not everyone likes chocolate ice cream and sauce. More positives than negatives but good value when considering price.

I read the reviews before I went and did not want to eat here but late arrival and being hungry had no choice. The dinner was typical of this type of establishment but was food and better than breakfast. So, breakfast we didn't book and boy did the server lets us know we didn't - everything was too much hassle.... More

We have been here regularly, most often for buffet breakfast on a weekend. They're inconsistent at best but our visit today was terrible. They took our money and then we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited for them to bring food out. It turned out one of their main ovens had broken down and they were trying to prepare... More

Stayed at the adjacent Premier Inn so used it as being convenient. So what were the issues. We visited on a Friday evening. The staff were doing their best but clearly had issues they couldn't manage. The queue to order was long and although there were 3 tills only 2 open and it took 15 minutes to order. The number...
