We like brewers fayre for an easy quick family meal out as there's a good choice on the menu and it tastes pretty good and we love that the kids can use the soft play whilst waiting for courses and whilst the grown ups have a chill after eating. The restaurant by the child's play always looks a bit untidy... More

Very comfortable and good food. On one occasion the service was a bit slow because the computer hadn't told the kitchen about our meals, but this was rectified very quickly and efficiently

We ate breakfast here (stayed in Premier Inn next door). It was the weakest premier inn breakfast we've had- we normally look forward to them - but this one had scorched croissants, nearly empty hot breakfast serving dishes looking very tired under heat lamps (for a breakfast costing over £8 each), quite stale bread (even in the middle of the... Rubbish service, rude staff and other customers, we did speak to the manager in charge that night after asking the hotel receptionist to call her over to the reception as we didn't see her all evening or at least someone who looked in charge and she presided to argue with us even though we were in fact correct will not... Whilst staying at the excellent Preminer Inn next door we had dinner and breakfast at this Brewers Fayre and if there had been anywhere else to go we would have done so. I know it's cheap but that doesn't have to equate to bad. I had the steak and ale pie which would have failed the Trades Descriptions Act on... More

This was an ok place, now terrible. This was a 'last chance' visit; which confirmed the status of this venue. 15 minutes to order, with staff randomly picking with the odd local thrown in. Once we had our Sunday meal tickets, a further 5 minutes to wait for the buffet to be told only one meat left, chicken and only... More

Ordered mixed grill - all the meat was tasteless, the chips weren't cooked, far too many kids running around and I'm only 21!! Never again

Four of us stayed 14/01/204. The food was of poor quality, the waiting staff ignorant and rude. The food when it came was staggered, so one was finishing before second colleague received his meal and then the last two came when he was half way through his meal and first was finished. Other dinners were complaining that they had been... More

This was a complete nightmare! Run by youngsters with no enthusiasm or motivation. The head chef must be a Microwave oven. The food was bloody awful, over cooked and dry as you like. You must complain, I did and never had to pay my bill, drinks included. Still would never ever go back.
