Ate here today and had two main courses for a tenner and two desserts for £2.50. Admittedly one of the desserts was a delicious caramel topped apple betty and the other ice cream and I had to put the two together, but worth a fiver for the two.The Brewers Fayre do a loyalty bonus card which , when you register... I arrived about 8pm in the adjacent Premier Inn. Being Friday I like to have fish and their was a fish buffet each as much as you like. Unfortunately I did not enjoy it as the fish had dried up from being too long on display. So on the Saturday night I chose from the menu which was much better.

*Note that i am rating these within its category place/price/food Again, it was a business i was in the Premier Inn next door, this place needs to improve in many things, but they are just a small kick away to be a really good restaurant and i think they are improving so catch up with them in a month or... Having eaten at many Brewers Fayres over the years we know what to expect. We got what we expected, decent food at a decent price. We were staying next door at the Premier Inn so did not have to travel far to eat. Seemed clean and tidy when we visited. Food was nice and hot, well presented. We did not... More

Have lived in town for years and avoided the pub, as assumed would be regular chain low quality. But now having two toddlers the soft play and outdoors climbing apparatus is very welcome. Have been twice and had Sunday buffets - both times the veg was all excellent, not overcooked and Yorkshires good. Downsides - our kids don't eat big... More

The staff are good but that's where it ends. The garden isn't cleaned at night so in the morning when we went for breakfast we were faced with really grubby, stained chairs and carpets, we went outside to have coffee in the garden to be faced with cigarette butts strewn everywhere, napkins blowing around, sauce sachets thrown under tables -... This is where breakfast is served for the nearby Premier Inn - The full buffet selection is ideal to start the day. The bar has a good selection of local brews and a good wifi connection. I didn't have dinner there but it was very busy and they seem to have a wide range of offers. The staff were friendly,... More
