Description: The signature dish of Cyprus - Kleftiko literally means "stolen lamb”. The story goes that the "Greek Kleftes," Bandits who hid in the mountains, would sometimes steal a lamb for food. They cooked it sealed tightly on a buried pit of coals to keep a low profile, and not give away their hideout by sight and smell. My paternal Grandfather 'George' was known for his Lamb and Goat rearing in Famagusta, Cyprus. His Farm produced milk to make the famous Cypriot cheese Halloumi and his lambs were a treat to eat. The Restaurant will continue to use the finest local produce specializing in Cheshire Lamb.My maternal Grandfather, also called George, was famous for cooking the signature dish, in both his village of Kyrenia Cyprus where he was taught, and continues now in Manchester. We will be using the same recipe to cook the dish here at the restaurant. (We are lucky as his recipes are unique and he keeps them close to his heart). The restaurant embraces old Family recipes combined with new style to offer the ultimate Greek Dining Experience. Our cooking methods include, using a traditional wood-fired clay oven and a coal fired BBQ to give the full flavour to our food.Chef George & the team

Went here with friends for lunch and was not disappointed. Really tasty fresh food and when the chef wasn't happy with the way our main course had turned out he sent out a complementary dish to tide us over while he started again. The prices are very reasonable for both food and wine. It was quiet which was a shame... More

Loved the food, excellent menu changes regularly. I have celiac and always cater for me with no problem. Very amicable staff although service on a occasion has been slow. Go there for the evening and don't be in a rush! Great experience!

For something outofthe ordinary you must try te Stolen Lamb, the food is home cooked Greek, wit great flavours and something for everyone. If there are a group of you I would suggest you try the meze, which is fantastic and takes yu through a culinary delight. There are many traditional dishes and the Kleftiko is really good.

I went here as the nearby curry house was full, best decision I made. The staff were great explaining every course as the brought it, every course was fantastic. The atmosphere was just right, relaxed. I will be going again and have told everyone I know about this hidden gem.

Neither of us knew what to expect and decided to try this place on the spur of the moment. Every course was beautifully presented and had my mouth watering before i could get my hands on it. The portion size looks small but is exactly the the right amount of food and i eat a lot. I left feeling completely... More

I'd been wanting to try stolen lamb for a while on friends recommendations and it did not disappoint. We went on a busy Saturday evening. The modern Greek taverna with a lovely calm atmosphere was a wonderful setting to a beautiful meal. The food was sensational I'd really recommend the sesame seed hallumi as it was amazing. Will definitely be... More

This was our first visit to this restaurant but it was definitely worth it. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and there were four of us. The atmosphere is calm. The tables are well laid out giving space between them so that you feel relaxed and can chat easily. The service might seem a little slow but not so much... More
