The location is excellent , good service and nice staff. Very Christmassy with all the lights even though this was September but in the warm evening it was very tasteful. It is a vintage inn so the menu is a bit predictable if you frequent their pubs a bit more originality might help, but nevertheless the food was nice with... More

Visited the Honey with a colleague last Tuesday when in the area on business as it is one of the Vintage Inns chain of pub restaurants which offer great food and good value. It is a nice comfortable venue for both traveller and local alike We chose from the new autumn menu and enjoyed gammon steaks and whale of a... More

Having passed this rather large building many times, we decided to try the Sunday Menu. There was plenty of parking spaces and the setting was pleasing. The menu was reasonably varied and we chose the combined roast of steak, turkey and pork with veg and potatoes. The waiter was a nice young man with a pleasing smile. The food arrived... More

I went to the Honey Bee as a group of 12 including 3 children for Sunday lunch. The menu was very appealing however the food was distinctly average and served lukewarm. The pub itself has a nice atmophere and it well decorated.

I had organized a Christmas lunch with work colleagues, the wait was 45 mins as we were on lunchtime break this wasnt ideal and when it did arrive it was really in dribs and drabs and some were eating starters while others on desserts. Very disappointing!

Been here a few times and always enjoyed it but I have to say a poor service tonight with errors and delays. People just walking around and not taking charge of there responsibilities.

We ordered at 645pm and got our starters relatively quickly but we waited for our mains from 7pm to 8pm over an hour The children were so hungry and we kept asking the... More

We went to celebrate a friends birthday having had good food and service on a couple of previous visits. The welcome was great and the service exemplary. We had a range of food and it was all brilliant. So glad that we chose this restaurant, a fantastic night.

Very good simple food, all manner of pies, sausages, burgers ,steaks well cooked. We had Lunch on a weekday when there was obviously a problem with the service it taking our party of 4, 2 1/2hours to be served. Had this been a business Lunch this could have caused problems. Excellent value for money however.
