Visited this pub on Thursday lunchtime. The attitude of the female member of staff behind the bar was appalling. Unhelpful, unfriendly and unprofessional. We decided not to stay and went across the road to the Cheshire Smokehouse. What a difference. They were welcoming, friendly and the food was superb. The Honey Bee management could gain a lot by sending their... More

Visited here on a stay at the Airport Inn. We both ordered pies and were happy enough with the food. The staff were friendly on arrival and quick service once the food was ordered. There was some delay on paying the bill but all in all enjoyed the food we had. Would visit again.

Have been here twice now, and on the first occasion I gave the staff the benefit of the doubt as in having a bad day. The customer service is absolutely appalling, miserable po faced staff who have big attitude problems.. Always make you feel as though they are doing you a favour, rather than delivering a service. Everything in this... More

It's such a shame because the vintage pie night here is great- the pies are well made & good value. Unfortunately whoever owns this pub has left a group of early-twenties to run it without much training. The service is poor at best. The first time we went we had to chase for our drinks twice, the bill three times,... More

I was very disappointed with my last visit to the Honey Bee. We had to wait 5 to 10 minutes before we were acknowledged and seated. As a minimum I would expect to be acknowledged while waiting even if it would take a few minutes to seat us. We had to wait 45 minutes for our order to arrive and... More

The best vintage inn we've eaten in! Lovely food, great atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Good service and food was nicely presented. Just a short stroll from the Airport Inn and ideal for a nice meal before flying out the following morning.

Came hear on a Sunday afternoon at around 4pm. I ordered roast beef and my wife ordered a burger. After waiting nearly an hour the food arrived. It was terrible. The pigs in blankets were not cooked. The beef was dangerously bloody. Roast potatoes hard. Carrots raw. To be fair to the staff they gave us one free dessert. However,... More

good, quick, tasty food, efficient staff - would go back. Quite busy but they found us a table - despite it being Fathers day. Good choice on menu and typical pub grub
