visited for lunch with friends, food very good, service so slooooow for drinks and food and the high tec service not working. No idea who waiter was as had to stop who ever passed, frustrating! Would recommend but make sure you have time to spare. Would have rated lower but food is good.

We made an unplanned stop here to eat and we weren't disappointed. We can't fault the service or the food, it was all excellent and would highly recommend this restaurant. We will be returning soon!

Then it is better than you thought. A little twist here and there, and the food is more tasty. Service is good, generally young waiters and staff. Very helpful, they allow you to change vegetables and dressings. A good range of wines, beers and non alcoholic drinks. The seating and tables are varied, i have not eaten outside yet, but... More

Visited on Monday lunchtime with friends who had not been before. They were impressed with the atmosphere. Not too busy so able to choose a table to suit. Plenty of choice on the menu. The cod, steak pie, rolled belly pork and burger were all very good but the hunter's chicken was dry and tough - overcooked? Service was generally... More

Small party of us went for a works Christmas meal. I have been several times in the past and was not disappointed when we returned. although it wasn't busy, service was still excellent. Food was lovely and the choice of meals was excellent, also had a lovely window table. Could have stayed there longer but was driving! Thoroughly recommended

We were greeted and shown to a table near an open fire which was very welcoming as it was very cold outside. Staff were very attentive and efficient. Food arrived quickly and portions were generous. Not typical of pub food as the menu is a little more adventurous and they obivously use good quality ingredients. Lovely dining rooms with olde... More

Having visited the honey bee on two previous occasions we were expecting good food and we were not disappointed. We had arranged to meet up with friends and they were running late owing to the maverick nature of satnav. The staff didn't hassle us for sitting without ordering at a table set for four . indeed one of the barmen... More

This restaurant is part of Barclays superior dining places. You must be joking! Staff are very attentive and tried very hard to make up for another bad experience there. That was good but the food is only average pub dare. Sadly never again, there are many more great places to eat in Wilmslow

Not been to the Honey Bee for years after one disappointing meal and it went off our radar. on Saturday night we were badly let down by Boddington Arms so went to next nearest place The Honey Bee. Was really pleasantly surprised . We all had a lovely meal, fabulous waitress in a very pleasant warm atmosphere. We will definitely... More
