Went just after New Year sometime, the place wasn't busy, I think we were the first table to arrive for the evening session. We had a great service and the food we ordered was cooked perfectly ( unlike a nearby Indian restaurant that served me uncooked chicken). The food was delicious full of flavour, there is something on the menu... More

Went to this restaurant for a takeaway following the very positive reviews of fellow curry lovers. Take away food does not tend to show what the Chef can really do and in my case I thought the meals were average and very similar to the other good Indian restaurants in the South Manchester area. This is my second visit in the last 6 months. It's always a pleasure, the service is excellent and the food is first class. It's not your usual bland curry house with stereotype dishes. Every time I seem to find something new, and I have recommended it to all my friends. The best bit is a nice pint of Gurkha... More

I judge an indian restaurant on the biryani. This sauce was reasonably flavoured but no vegetables in sauce or rice, plus no omelette on top. Detail matters. The Barinda round the corner which to be fair, sometimes is a bit slow, is always worth the wait due to their effortless finesse, flair and fabulous food. My partner had a dosa... More
