Nice surroundings, nice food but absolutely dire service. They were prompt enough to give us the normal pickle tray and drinks but we waited 40 minutes for our main course, even though we asked where it was. It was the same when we asked for the bill. We then had to actually go to the bar to get the bill.... More

To be quite honest my partner really enjoys an indian meal but because of a few bad meals on consecutive occasions I had really gone off them but that all changed on Friday night when we were staying over in Wilmslow and visited Barinda. We were greeted and shown to our seats by a really pleasant young man. Our drinks... More

Simply Outstanding meal ! The chicken is extraordinarily tasty in any form here.. The breads are fantastic.. The sauces in all forms appear to be quite unique to any other Indian restaraunt I have visited. I've been 5 or 6 times now with several different couples who all have said the same... Wonderful !

I frequent this restaurant and went early Sunday evening with the family. The service was quick friendly and efficient. Succulent lamb tikka, a superb chicken jalfrezi and great chicken tikka. just avoid after 8pm on a Saturday because they are just too successful and busy for their own good! The owner and his brother are charming.

Been coming here for years and can highly recommend the food. But when busy the priority is given to the take aways so the service to the restaurant customers often crumbles to such an extent that we no longer eat in. Examples include long waits between courses, dirty plates not cleared away, cold plates, no drink orders taken between meals... More

The only choice now for me in Wilmslow. Hot and rich Jal Frezie, they do Paneer main courses too for my wife. Mixed meat starter enough to feed the whole family. I've forgiven them for keeping me waiting every now and then, the food is worth it.

I've been going to this restaurant on and off for about ten years. The food has always been outstanding; the service polite and the price fair. Lovely curries. I actually used to drive over from Knutsford to get take-out curries from here, when I'd moved from Wilmslow, because I missed their Tikka Massala so much.

I was fortunate to be taken to the Barinda for dinner. I have to say that the food was superb. The Butterfly King Prawns were battered with a beautiful spicy batter, the apple relish accompaniment to the poppadoms was different but very nice. My Lamb for the main course was so soft that the knife just breezed through it. The... More
