Nice

I like it and it was amazing and the staff were great. But the food is really cheap. And I feel that it's something that bothers me alot.

Fantastic Indian food. Doesn't have a lot of kerb appeal but don't be fooled into not eating here. Been before and would go again.

This is one of the best places to visit if you want a good curry.. All freshly cooked ,, .. We all had different starters including a veggie one. Curries were all freshly cooked .. We had them with various rices & naan breads.. They were all great .. & we didn't leave much. Feeling all full we didn't bother... More

Visited here tonight with 5 friends and a toddler and couldn't have been met with a better reception from the staff. Great menu, reasonably priced and staff who were very accommodating when one of my group was too ill to eat her meal, they happily boxed it up for her to take away.

Having only moved to the area last year we quickly had to establish a good Indian restaurant. We got it. The welcome is first class and the food is great as well. We have been back time and time again and each time it ticks the boxes. Thoroughly recommend the Jalfrezi, and if you ask nicely they might do a... More

Food was average, service was OK. The place is slightly dated but spacious and central location. Food was freshly prepared but the rice bowl had hair on the side which made me question the hygiene standards. Portion size is reasonable but rice bowl was small. Not sure if I will be visiting again

It was many years since we'd been to Akash having moved out of Horsham some 18 years ago, so I was interested when i was invited back with some friends. Since then I've returned twice with the family - all curry aficionados and all love the place. The manager is really good, always remembers us and always recommends some thing... More

What a run-down, arrogant and customer-hostile establishment this place is. Having looked up several Horsham restaurants I walked a considerable distance to get to this one. First mistake. Restaurant was empty except for one table; I asked for a table near the window which the exceptionally grumpy waiter grudgingly "allowed" me to occupy, shoving the settings for the 3 spare... More

My son loves a curry, so for his 13th birthday - he chose to go to the Akash. We have eaten here on and off for 20 years- and it is usually very good - and today was no exception . Excellent selection of varied traditional and modern dishes-Try the goan chicken-and nice to have food that , if required,... More

food is always excellent but they do get busy at the weekend, so you will need to book in advance if going on a Friday or Saturday. We like to go on a Tuesday or Thursday.
