Had a meal here on a Thursday night with friends. Ordered cocktails witch arrived in OK time. Was not sure what to order so we thought we would go for the taster menu. Upon ordering we were told it was not the best choice for four of us but to choose 5 plates between us. So we did.. We ordered... More

Saturday night, 8:30pm and Wabi is 'slowly' filling up. Great interior ie stool bars, decor etc. To order and pay for two drinks, one a cocktail and the other drink would have been a cocktail but as it took the barman over five minutes to make the first (& only) cocktail, an easy beer was ordered! To take ten minutes... More

Worst service in many years....delivered with an extra dash of disdain for the customer.... Claimed they had opened too early....3 staff quit on the same day...one that remained claimed not to be able to "speaky English no, sorry" Manager indifferent and they were not busy ! However they did have more security staff on the door than bar staff...

Lovely boy and man on front door.. Nicest cocktails ever. California sushi was decent! Duck rolls very very average.. Shame they didn't say bye and hid the service charge in the bill. Odd mix of clientele but nice welcoming vibe. Would probably go back for drinks.

Moved back to the UK having lived Tokyo - my husband and I are "foodies". Took a while to get the nerve up to try UK sushi after regularly eating the best in the world. Needn't have worried. Whilst the sushi and other Japanese dishes aren't the best we've eaten, it's certainly of the best we've eaten in the UK.... More

A delight to eat there. Always fresh Sushi, Sashimi, Bento Box and Tempura dishes are to die for. The other Japanese eatery a few doors away is prepared by students for roughly the same price. Need I say more. Worth every penny.

After hearing such great reviews, I was actually rather disappointed after my visit! Staff seemed very knowledgeable on the menu, however our waitress simply reread the menu back to us when we asked questions, plus was SO SO quiet that despite her standing right next to me, I hardly heard a word she spoke, at all. Plus, the restaurant was... More

A tasty journey from beginning to end. Garden outside fab for pre- supper drinks and the inside attractive with the water-wall. Staff extremely well informed on all aspects of the menu and it was really yummy.

However, I tried to book a table for 6 on my iPhone but signal failed me, my two sons, their girlfriends and my husband and I (in our 50's & 60's) just turned up on Friday eve, 8.30ish only to be met by two doormen. One of them asked us to queue up in an imaginary queue (there was no... More

I was taken here by my girlfriend as I love Japanese food. We started with 2 x Pornstar cocktail which were awesome made freshly in front of us by friendly staff member named Adam. Adam then spoke about the menu in detail and then helped us order, I chose the black cod and did'nt disapoint. The whole looks great and... More
