Disappointing Breakfast

I went for breakfast last week with my daughter. My daughter went up first and came back with a plate of scrambled egg and beans. That was all that was left. I went up and joined the woman in front of me who said the waitress was going to bring out more of everything. 15 minutes later and we were... read more

Quiz Time. Question 1. 4 meals ordered, 3 x adults 1x child. Basic pub grub. Time ordered; 18.18 on a quiet Thursday evening. What time were they served? Answer; 19.20. Customer Service; 1/10 Attitude of staff; 2/10 Quality of food; 7/10 Overall experience; 3/10 Conclusion; Never again. Unless it's for breakfast as we're staying next door at Premier Inn.

I was a bit apprehensive about going to The Travellers after looking at some of the previous reviews that say the service is really slow, but I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Thursday night but I found the waiters to be friendly and accommodating and the service fine. We asked to move to a different... More

I made a reservation on 13/12/14 for my birthday on 29/12/14 ... I wish I never bothered!! I did not get the area that I asked for, the floor was filthy with bits of food everywhere, not crumbs but large pieces! When informed the on duty manager Micekle his attitude was abhorrent. 1st he said to give him a few... More

Not having visited this restaurant for many years due to moving many miles away. We decided to book into the hotel next door for our concert at Wembley. We had both our evening meal and breakfast here and was pleasantly surprised by both the staff and the quality of food. They were able to cater for our tight schedule on... More

Visited here recently for a birthday celebration. Having originally hailed from Harrow, I remember visited a few times as child and teenager and always had a good impression in my head. This visit unfortunately left a sour taste. We were quite a large table (10), but this doesnt really excuse for anything. On the positive the food was good, tasted... More

Stayed for 2 nights in the adjoining Premier Inn, which by the way was very good and no complaints. Which can't be said for the Beefeater. Breakfast on the first morning we sat down and ordered, after 30 mins the server came and said haven't you got your meal yet? Obviously not as the table was bare. Eventually after an... More
