Ate here last night for my Birthday celebration as they had e-mailed me with a voucher for a complimentary bottle of champers. The surroundings of this restaurant are nice and comfortable (we asked for comfortable seats and were given them as some of the seats are just plain wood with no pads...ouch!). Food was lovely, had scallops (disappointed only 3... More

Myself and my wife popped in whilst passing one lunchtime, we have been here before with family in the evening but it's a while ago, and remember the food being good, however and this visit we were disappointed, the setting is lovely, but on this occasion let down by the food, I had fish and chips which was tasteless and... This place continues to be a success as it's got it just right. The food is good but nothing special, staff are friendly, wine selection good and reasonable and the decor lovely. It's always busy and has a lovely outside area and lots of parking . Always busy and good atmosphere!

Being my first visit to the Lyttelton Arms, I was very impressed initially; excellent parking facilities, clean premises and welcoming staff. Unfortunately I am unable to provide the same compliments regards the food. Both myself and my partner decided to eat in the bar area as the restaurant had no table for an hour or so. The food was served... More

Keep trying every 6 months for dinner as love the venue but the food this saturday was shockingly BAD! How can anyone mess up a beef pie?! Uncooked pale puff pastry, no sauce in one of 3 pies ordered. No meat in one pie but plenty of fat! Such a shame as it could be so good. Constructive criticism the... More

A really interesting interior with space and character and with 2 fires. But managed to still have a modern , clean image. My order on Sunday lunch of a trio of roasts was good and I would order that again. I had to ask for sauces though and that should have been offered to all the table. But my wife... More

Over priced for menu, no condiments on table, side plates but no offer of bread with our starters! When asked why they were there, the waitress informed me they were for decoration! No offer of sauces for lamb, had to ask for Dijon mustard, served belatedly in pot from fridge! Bill took 4 attempts to be accurate and coffee orders... More

The Lyttleton at Hagley Near Stourbridge is always a pleasure to visit. Decor is clean, modern and it is spacious, but normally very busy with a lively atmosphere and just a bit up-market. It attracts all age groups. Food is generally very good, and you would expect to pay just a little more for it than in a traditional pub,... More
