This restuant offers a lovely atmosphere, where you can watch the sunset over the river. Almost felt like we were on holiday. The staff were fantastic and catered to our every need. The food - where do I start! It was amazing, my partner has eaten alot of steaks but said that this one was in his top 3! cooked... More

Lovely location and nice décor, but apart from that it was very average and poor value for money. We have visited several times a few years ago and it was great, seems to have really gone down hill... would not recommend it at all. - It was empty, only a couple more tables apart from us, on a weekend evening... We hadn't been to Riva for a couple of years, not for any reason other than sheer laziness really. We had a lovely meal on a beautiful evening on the river. The food was excellent (and plentiful), the atmosphere was great, the service was faultless and the views were terrific. OK it's not cheap but why should (or how could)... More

Riva Waterside Restaurant is a great place to eat with lots of choice. After a lovely meal stroll around Gravesend and enjoy its rich history.

We were the only people in the restaurant. It was cold in the restaurant and prices are ridicuosly high for a Gravesend restaurant. Portions small and then a 12% service charge was automatically applied would NOT recomend

You can almost forget you're in Gravesend and imagine yourself somewhere much more cosmopolitan. We have eaten here and spent many nights in the bar. The food was great, the atmosphere is fab and if you're lucky, there is sometimes some evening entertainment in the bar. All in all, a great night out.

I must admit a certain trepidation on arrival as I read some of the reviews here after making our booking. All I can say is that we had a wonderful Mother's day lunch here and would happily recommend Riva as somewhere to go for a special occasion in Gravesend. The service was extremely attentive and the food excellent. Spectacular views... More

When we walked in on a Friday afternoon and were the only customers in there we should have seen it as a sign. The menu looked like it had a great selection but the prices were eye watering. If I was sat on the banks of the Thames in Central London then I'd expect these prices, but not sat in... More
