Beautiful comfy room

We booked into the hotel at the last minute. We were given the Eggborough suite. The room was spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard. The room is at the front of the hotel but there is no noise from the road outside. We had a great nights sleep. The breakfast cook Anna looked after... read more

A traditional pub with great beer ( some from the brewery in the village) and great food. I highly recommend the steak pie and the blonde bomb shell beer! They also do a great Sunday carvery

Once again we have been treated to a fantastic meal, which did include their great steak pie. As usual the Blonde Bombshell ale was of its usually high standard. A complete treat every week we go in. Chris & Chrissy make fantastic hosts

It's still one of my favourites for a pint and a chat - great world war 2 bomber memorabilia. Great beer and a nice layout - the only downside is that the price of the food is a bit on the high side for a local pub - portions are decent, but just on the pricey side for mostly 'standard'... More
