Great village pub

A traditional pub with great beer ( some from the brewery in the village) and great food. I highly recommend the steak pie and the blonde bomb shell beer! They also do a great Sunday carvery

Once again we have been treated to a fantastic meal, which did include their great steak pie. As usual the Blonde Bombshell ale was of its usually high standard. A complete treat every week we go in. Chris & Chrissy make fantastic hosts

The Brewers has been our local for some years, where we have enjoyed freshly cooked and reasonably priced bar meals and the pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. So we turned down the chance of Christmas dinner at an alternative popular venue, at £37.50, for the same at the Brewers Arms for £50. We were confident that although we knew the alternative... It's still one of my favourites for a pint and a chat - great world war 2 bomber memorabilia. Great beer and a nice layout - the only downside is that the price of the food is a bit on the high side for a local pub - portions are decent, but just on the pricey side for mostly 'standard'... More

Chris and Chrissie and their staff make this pub a pleasure to visit. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The pub itself is a traditional pub which has a good reputation within the community. The outside seating area is perfect for families, with the climbing frame and garden area for the kids to play on. The rooms have recently been... More
