We have been to the Hope & Anchor Inn for many times now. It is a little off the beaten track down by the Humber Estuary Riverside, but well worth the travel - even if it can be a little tricky to get a parking spot at times! We visited for Sunday lunch on (you will never guess!), Sunday. The... More

We dropped in for a quick drink, on a lovely warm evening, decided to stay for a bite to eat; talk about understatement, the whole experience was just fantastic; presentation - second to non and the flavours were absolutely fabulous; highly recommended.

My wife and I went for Mothers Day Sunday lunch, and as always everything was spot on. Lovely food, excellent service provided by happy and friendly staff in a relaxing atmosphere. Genuine value for money. Would recommend the Hope and Anchor to anyone. Booking recommended. Mick B.

A really lovely setting on the banks of the River Ouse near the mouth of the Humber, 14 of us went for Niece's birthday and the food and service was fantastic, from mussels to Prawn Cocktails, steak, everyone enjoyed it thoroughly and we certainly go again.

We came here for a family members birthday. There were 19 of us altogether including 3 young children and a baby. We booked the tables in advance and were given all close together. Nice choice of starters with the majority of the group going for the trio of yorkshire puddings ( which did seem a little random as a starter... More

We arrived without a booking (we'll book next time, promise), to be accommodated no problem. When a table became available in the conservatory we were offered the table, which we accepted, with views of... More
