Wake

We booked my fathers wake at this pub and agreed on an £8/head buffet for 30 people . The buffet was lovely and the vast . This price included tea and coffee as well as desert. The staff couldn't do enough to help and were really well trained . They even wrapped up the extra food for the guests... read more

My partner and I arrived at the Percy Arms at 4.20pm not knowing if they were serving food or not. They start serving at 4.00pm so we ordered drinks and had a look at the menu. We both opted for the steak and ale pie. We went outside while we were waiting and the lady behind the counter came and... More

Didn't know what to expect having only ever been to Goole a few times. But was completely blown away by the quality of the food. It was very well presented and you got a lot for your money. We will definitely be back. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would recommend 100%

Went on Fathers day for Sunday lunch. We were a party of 8 including our two Grandsons, aged 6 and 7. Restaurant very, very busy, but still served in a timely manner. The waitresses were all friendly and efficient. Five of us had roast beef, two had roast pork and one had the homemade chicken pie. All of the food... More

A charming village pub in a nice setting with a lovely atmosphere. Apparently this means that they can over charge for sub standard food. My girlfriend and I have visited previously for lunch and were impressed which only made this visit that much more of a disappointment. Starting with the starter. The Airmyn platter for two. The wedges were hard... More

Very nice food, but on of my friends is vegetarian and finds it a very limited menu. I think they could do with a change. I have s great appetite and the food fills me,but I have tried nearly everything on the menu over the past year.

For my 70th birthday, we and a few very special friends decided to visit the Percy Arms, on the recommendation of one of them. We travelled from Easingwold, Pocklington, Snaith and Doncaster to this not quite centrally convenient point and enjoyed a thoroughly good meal, albeit pretty standard I was told for Sunday lunch. It was busy and we had... More

A pre-booked retirement party with menu chosen. The food arrived 40 minutes after agreed time and was distinctly average. The fish dishes were good but the rest below par. Soggy veg, cold lasagna, burnt crust on meat pie etc. The restaurant was clearly over booked for the size of the kitchen and not enough staff on duty. With the prices... More

First visit to this place and was impressed overall. Pleased the occupants of the large number of motorhomes parked up in the car park were not eating though! Steak was good but cooked more like well done than medium but was still ok albeit not as it should have been. Will return.
