Booked for 5 adults on a Monday evening, lovely welcome, chose our food, as usual, had to wait over 30 minutes for the food to arrive but was worth it, better than ever, not been for over a year, will try to go again before the next year goes.

We went to The Percy Arms for a celebratory meal. What can I say!! the meal was fantastic. Three of us had sizzle of the day, one had jerk chicken sizzle and one gammon. The staff were excellent and attentive explaining that the sizzle of the day was new and asking had we enjoyed it. The answer was a yes... More

Went today for a birthday meal, six of us. Have been here several times and had really nice meals and service. Not so today, Sunday lunch food, roast beef dinner, not as much beef as normal, food only luke warm. Beef quite tough. Potatoes had been cooked twice and consequently hard, Yorkshire tough. Staff were lackadaisical and not very attentive,... More

Food great (bit pricey we thought) but knew that as been many times before. Staff friendly and accommodating. Huge let down was the amount of cigarette butts stuffed in the sand-filled wine bottle on our table (with a numbered spoon in it to show the table number) and the overflowing bucket of sand crammed with cigarette butts and fag packets.... My partner and I arrived at the Percy Arms at 4.20pm not knowing if they were serving food or not. They start serving at 4.00pm so we ordered drinks and had a look at the menu. We both opted for the steak and ale pie. We went outside while we were waiting and the lady behind the counter came and... More

We booked my fathers wake at this pub and agreed on an £8/head buffet for 30 people . The buffet was lovely and the vast . This price included tea and coffee as well as desert. The staff couldn't do enough to help and were really well trained . They even wrapped up the extra food for the guests. Home... More

Didn't know what to expect having only ever been to Goole a few times. But was completely blown away by the quality of the food. It was very well presented and you got a lot for your money. We will definitely be back. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would recommend 100%

Went on Fathers day for Sunday lunch. We were a party of 8 including our two Grandsons, aged 6 and 7. Restaurant very, very busy, but still served in a timely manner. The waitresses were all friendly and efficient. Five of us had roast beef, two had roast pork and one had the homemade chicken pie. All of the food... More

A charming village pub in a nice setting with a lovely atmosphere. Apparently this means that they can over charge for sub standard food. My girlfriend and I have visited previously for lunch and were impressed which only made this visit that much more of a disappointment. Starting with the starter. The Airmyn platter for two. The wedges were hard... More

Very nice food, but on of my friends is vegetarian and finds it a very limited menu. I think they could do with a change. I have s great appetite and the food fills me,but I have tried nearly everything on the menu over the past year.
