When approached we asked for a table for 6, we felt as if we were trouble causers, as the waitress groaned before walking off with very little more than "wait here" and an adolescent roll of her eyes. The service, 6 bacon sandwiches took more than 3/4 hour, and required chasing up twice. Quality was poor. Bacon chewy, sliced bread... More

Having been previously and had good service I had high expectations of my return visit! I was really dissapointed. Not only was my steak over cooked but I waited over 20 mins for it to be re cooked! By this time my family had all finished. I left hungry!!!!

Visited 6pm to capture the 2 for £10 offer which is a real bargain. The food is always good and staff happy to change the sides where required. Reviewing the menu don't know if I'd pay £10 for sunday lunch tho! Service was good too. Highly recommend

Typical pub food offer not very 'chic' but certainly hits the spot for a hungry traveler after a straight-forward dinner and a pint.

The Ayie & Calder is one of the Brewers Fayre chain of restaurants, annexed to a Premier Inn on the outside of Goole, right off the M62. More on the implications of that later. It was a Saturday evening, and the bar and dining areas looked about half full, so the service wasn’t as slow as some reviewers experienced. Most... More

Not great, not bad... you get what you pay for... which is average. A pint of guiness isn't too difficult to get right is it ?

well ,the management of this place should be ashamed ,staff are being employed with no knowledge of their duties ! or customer care , food orders are taken at the bar and when produced bare no resemblance to what is described on the menu, food is obviously frozen and then microvaved which anybody could do at home , please keep clear... I attended this venue as one of a party of six, I found the service to be very slow. The barmaid didn't even know how to make a lager & lime! Things didn't really improve too much throughout our visit. I ordered a chicken piri piri melt off the specials board - it hadn't even heard the words piri piri,... More

This establishment is a typical chain restaurant....cramped, noisy and the food is uninteresting and mass produced. A place I avoid!
