Secret Garden for sure!

This is one of those places that you don't want anyone to know about. The outdoor seating is lovely. The service was excellent. The food was outstanding. I had the warm goat cheese salad with shrimp. The candied nuts tasted and looked like they were homemade. The shrimp were large and perfectly... read more

A very quaint cafe! The food was delicious, the portions grand, and the service was wonderful, couldn't have asked for a more perfect place!

I was greeted by a gentleman who offered several different tables and I selected one in a quieter room, given water and bread before taking any orders...this is nice! They have a dinner for two at around $32 on early days of the week, and we took advantage of that. The wine list was not extensive but it had different... More

Found this place online and had an excellent dinner. Lime filet over pasta as well as lemon chicken over pasta was excellent. A little hard to find (up some stairs from the street between two building) but it was dark when we arrived. Would come again if we're in the area.

I have visited Occoquan for many years and just recently stumbled on The Secret Garden Cafe. It is tucked away past an alley way so it's no surprise I had never seen it. When I found the spot, I reviewed their menu, spoke with their courteous host and told him I would be back for dinner this week. Well, I... More

Limited menu and costly. Food quality and service were good, price is in line with high end restaurants and not appropriate for the facility and limited menu.

Went to this cafe just for the chicken salad sandwich and it was gone! Gone! Off the menu! No more! I had no idea how much I loved their chicken salad until I was not able to get it. We go out of our way to get lunch and dinner here and I am sorry to report that I will... More

This restaurant seems to have undergone a lot of change in the past year since we last stopped. It's been transformed from a soup and sandwich menu to a more upscale full service restaurant and the results are terrific. We stopped off for lunch while driving down I-95 and had their great salads as well as great steak sandwiches. Baguette... More

Unfortunately I did NOT get the waiter who reeked of 420, as mentioned by one Feb 15 reviewer, but I had to give the restaurant 5 stars anyway . We went on one of the coldest days of the year, and were greeted by some of the warmest people in the business. The setting was warm and modest with linen... More

I've eaten there twice ... most recently on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015. The shrimp and grits are amazing! Nice people, quaint atmosphere - excellent!
