It's ok if ur a local

Beer is hit and miss. Staff are pleasant if ur a local. God help newcomers. Children used to be an issue but now they have a designated area it is much better. Wish management would work busy periods. They are pleasant but need to show their faces more. They do the easy shifts. Food is more than... read more

A gentleman visiting this pub with his assistance dog was made to leave as they only accept dogs for the blind! Even the manager doesn't seem to know the laws and legislation concerning disabled people and their assistance dogs!! This gentleman was made to leave - after he had purchased a drink and sat down - he had to hobble... More

I had the worst meal I have ever ordered in my life brought to me by the arrogant barman, after I had waited 50 mins and they weren't even busy, the food was overlooked and tepid so had obviously been forgotten about... After one mouthful I took it back to the bar where the barman argued with me when I... More

terrible experience, they had children winding up an assistance dog to a clearly disabled gentleman on two sticks that could hardly walk. The dog barked twice (not very loud) owner told dog to be quiet and dog was then very quiet, lying down , no trouble. Manager told disabled man to leave as the only disability they recognise is blind... More

He then sat us down and forgot about us so half an hr later we ordered our food,... More

I use this pub a lot in the daytime to go for meals with friends, however when me and my boyfriend visited one evening it was totally a different experience. We arrived to a bunch of staring people even though I live a 5 min stroll away, we went straight to the bar and was next to get served the... More

We were booked in for a staff party of around 15, they reserved our tables and everything was ok, but that's about it ok, food was nothing special but it was £7 for a burger and fries, the burger bun has horrible!
