Good pub, just missing a jukebox

Absolutely love this pub when I come for a pint with some mates, only thing missing is a jukebox. That would have take this pub to another level

Where do I start....4 of us ordered food at lunchtime. It wasn't that busy. 45 minutes later food arrived. Salad had no dressing. When asked they said they hadn't got any nor anything else to offer. The place is next door to Tesco!!! So I sent it back. Order a tomato soup with a baguette...what could go wrong? It too... More

I met friends for lunch today at 1pm. We went to order food at 1.14 - I wanted a cajun chicken breast with rice instead of chips. They don't do that, however I could have a 'loaded' chicken (half a chicken with a sauce on the side) which does come with rice - so they do rice?!?! Two of my... More

Came here for lunch yesterday. Ordered a jacket potatoe with tuna mayo and a j20. Paid.. £5.65. Food was lovely.. jacket filling was plentyful and salad was lovely and fresh. Returned today. Ordered chicken tikka on a naan bread and a j20 paid £ 6.25. I questioned this having read the menu yesterday that it should be £ 5.25 as... More

Visited on 5th January for a game of darts with a work friend. It was quiet but we were glad as it's been very busy during the Christmas period, so had no trouble getting a game of darts and pool too. Drinks are not cheap but not overpriced and food, although we didn't eat, is reasonably priced too. Only negative... More

Oh my word where do I start. 1.5 hour wait on food. The worst steak I have ever seen, sent back twice. Complained only to be told that the regular chef was absent and a bar guy was cooking the food. Asked for a sandwich to bridge the gap advised 1 hour wait and not to bother!! Never again will... More

Mark and Sharon run a good local pub, great bands once a month, keeps his beer up to scratch. Would recommend it to anyone.

I've visited here a few times; on some occasions the service has been shocking and I've waited 35 minutes to be served at the bar even when it's quiet but more recently my experience was fairly positive. Recently I visited here with my friend, we ordered some food which was exceptionally cheap but actually very tasty, the alcohol was okay... More

A gentleman visiting this pub with his assistance dog was made to leave as they only accept dogs for the blind! Even the manager doesn't seem to know the laws and legislation concerning disabled people and their assistance dogs!! This gentleman was made to leave - after he had purchased a drink and sat down - he had to hobble... More
