Walked from Bude to Widemouth Bay and stopped at the Trelawny tea rooms and what a treat :-) lovely big home made scones and as all the reviews say oodles of jam and clotted cream. My husband had soup and sandwich. Very large portion and looked delicious. Excellent value for money and the owner gave us a tip for a... More

Excellent cream tea and coffee enjoyed by all (especially pretzel the dog who can eat cream teas with the best of them) Warm scones, oodles of jam and lots of luscious indulgent calorie free clotted cream (or at least that's what we told ourselves) what's not to like?

We read about this tea room on trip advisor and made it our first port of call when we arrived. We were glad we went but wasn't as impressed as we thought we would be. You have to be a fan of salad to dine here. My husband ordered the seafood platter, which was a lot of salad with a... More

This is a hidden gem of a tea room, serving coffees, lunches and teas. The owners are delightful and extremely welcoming and Gran's homemade scones are as light as a feather. The views are beautiful, the ambiance and service excellent and the food delicious and beautifully presented. What more could you want? Highly recommended.

We chose this tea room based on the great reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. The owners are welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent. They certainly deserve the heaps of praise others have given them. The location is perfect overlooking Widemouth Bay. The tea room is comfortable and quaint, they also sell local produce and... More

Wonderful warm welcome, fantastic cakes and cream tea, lovely to meet the owners and be genuinely welcomed by them, and have them be interested in our day and the kids surf lessons. If you're in Widemouth Bay then this is the place to visit.
