We read about this tea room on trip advisor and made it our first port of call when we arrived. We were glad we went but wasn't as impressed as we thought we would be. You have to be a fan of salad to dine here. My husband ordered the seafood platter, which was a lot of salad with a... More

This is a hidden gem of a tea room, serving coffees, lunches and teas. The owners are delightful and extremely welcoming and Gran's homemade scones are as light as a feather. The views are beautiful, the ambiance and service excellent and the food delicious and beautifully presented. What more could you want? Highly recommended.

We chose this tea room based on the great reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. The owners are welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent. They certainly deserve the heaps of praise others have given them. The location is perfect overlooking Widemouth Bay. The tea room is comfortable and quaint, they also sell local produce and... More

found this via TA and was blown away by the cakes (all homemade) the service and everything about this place. The sandwiches were great. Made with care and a lovely salad.

Wonderful warm welcome, fantastic cakes and cream tea, lovely to meet the owners and be genuinely welcomed by them, and have them be interested in our day and the kids surf lessons. If you're in Widemouth Bay then this is the place to visit.

Although we have been to Bude many times we only tried this tea room for the first time in August 2014. It is a family run tea room situated on the coast road at Widemouth and has lovely sea views. We took my 5 year old goddaughter there for lunch one day and they made her a very appetising child's... More

We found this place after reading reviews and so glad that we did. We ordered several different items over a number of visits and on every occasion we left with full tummies the portions were huge and delicious. We lost count on the 10th ingredient in the side salad. good honest service by people that really care. We will be... More

Saw this on trip advisor and so glad we tried it or may have passed it by and made a terrible assumption about beachside cafes which would have been so wrong. Called in for lunch and it was excellent and really good value. Promptly served by a very friendly waitress. All the portions were very generous, presentation excellent and tasted... More

The title says it all! Truly the best cream tea I've ever had, and I've had a few! Beautiful light, warm homemade scones with lashings of clotted cream and jam. Tea in a pot with extra water. A lovely eclectic mix of vintage crockery. A delightful host. A lovely view from the window. The other cakes were also homemade and... More
