Saw this tea room just away from the beach and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Had a lovely afternoon tea, beautifully served - thank you Steve. Pretty garden, great view of the sea. Perfect!

Visited Widemouth on three consecutive days whilst staying in Bude and had previously visited the Tea Room not long after it had opened a couple of years ago. On this occasion we chose the Panini/sandwich option which came with a very imaginative salad containing melon grapes, various peppers, plus the usual salad ingredients. The place was very busy due to... More

After reading reviews on TripAdvisor we sampled a cream tea at Trelawny Tea Room. Wow! The scones were second to none and came with a plentiful supply of jam and clotted cream. I had the Ladies which is one scone and my husband polished off the Gentleman's which is two scones. Tea is served in old fashioned china cups. The... More

Wow what an amazing place. Firstly the service is incredible, very friendly family-run business, the place is spotless with fantastic seating outside in the pretty gardens overlooking Widemouth Bay. The food is incredibly fresh and plentiful ranging from delicious salads, to bacon and blue cheese panini's and their breakfasts are superb. Home made cakes like your mum used to make... More

We are back on the North Cornish Coast for the second year running and this time round we made two visits to the Trelawny Tea Room. On both occasions the service was friendly and the food delicious! I've just experienced the Gentleman's Tea and encountered the usual problem of underestimating the amount of food that I would be given. Two... More

The best tea rooms ever! We love the breakfast, such a great choice and simple meals such as scrambled egg on toast are made with such care and are delicious. The full English is fantastic, there's something for everyone. We also love going there for lunch and the salads are superb with chopped grapes and other lovely extras. The cream... More

We decided to beat the crowds and avoid the carvery for fathers day so headed to Trelawny for a spot of lunch. Despite it being busy the service was quick and the food was superb. I had the French platter which comes with a beautiful side salad that takes up half a huge plate. The children loved the choice and... More

Beautiful views, garden and flowers and mouth watering and attractive food. Ran by a lovely couple who are passionate about the food they serve and homemade cakes. A hidden GEM :)

The food was very tasty, fresh, nicely seasoned and well presented. You can feel passion for food and respect for customers behind every plates. The only down side was that dogs are allowed within the premises... which was a bit of a put off. Fortunately we finished eating when they arrived... phew!
