Tasty food but eating area is very dark

We ordered a variety of food with everything we ordered being hot, tasty and what was promised on the menu. It was very busy but the tables seemed to be served efficiently. The seating area in places was very dark. I think it's due to the decor and the subtle lighting but it's not really how I... read more

We visit this pub on a weekly basis all year round for a variety of pub food and drink with a lovely river view. It has a lovely environment and is always very busy which is good for business! We usually alway have a very well presented and well served meal and only a couple of times out of many... More

What a great restaurant! That may seem over the top for what is a chain pub, similar to any Beefeater across the country, yet the food and more importantly the service was excellent. It was packed on the first night yet the manager found a space for us and our two babies and then pointed out exactly what we shouldn't... More

stayed at the Premier Inn there and used the pub for food. It was ok but very busy, you would be advised to book. Food perfectly adequate and service quick although busy

This is the restaurant for the premier inn. It was a busy easter weekend. Staff were helpful but struggling to keep up with demand. Great location for watching the boats going past.

The service was extremely slow, we waited ages between starters and main course. One main course was wrong, so even longer wait. Steak which was supposed to be medium/well done was more medium/rare, and burgers were burnt. Everything else was OK, but nothing special. To be fair, on complaining we received a considerable reduction to our bill, but would have... More

We ate dinner here on our first night staying at the Premier Inn as it was convenient on arrival to be able to walk over to the restaurant from the hotel. Having eaten at various other restaurants attached to Premier Inn's we knew that this would be similar straightforward decent quality but simple food. These chains are not designed to... More

Staying at the attached Premier Inn, there was no need to walk far to this restaurant. There was no atmosphere at this restaurant but plenty of noise from the crowded, packed-in tables. Food was cooked and passable but clearly low quality ingredients. Staff did their job, but clearly did not have the time to create a relaxing atmosphere for customers.

We visited Medina Quay every night for our 4 night stay at the Premier inn next door . This was due to location and also having such a vast selection on the menu to choose from. After being out all day visiting various areas on the Isle it was nice to come back to the hotel and shower then walk... More
