Small cafe style diner slightly out of town centre. Very friendly service, fast and English speaking. I had fondue, which was lovely and individual. My husband had rosti, again very good. Good price.

We had dinner - six of us and the service was extraordinary. The traditional Swiss rosti was among the best we'd ever had. Even if you didn't order it you got a portion with every entree.

After a chilly, sunny morning watching flights of festival hot air balloons float off among the snowy Swiss mountains, we were in need of hearty, warming lunches. Very basic caf but friendly staff. Very helpful with our vegetarian wheat free diet, but little choice. Had rosti but not very tasty. Wine cheaper than lager which is cheaper than cola.

Had a wonderful meal here in November. We tried a speciality braserade. Skewers of meat you cooked yourself over a flame, not in oil like a fondue. You could have horsemeat, steak or lamb. We tried them all. Excellent. Very little English spoken. Had Swiss red wine which was good plus beer and cider. Welcoming little bar at the back... More
