Wonderful family, food, staff, view and service. After 25 years it's still my favourite restaurant to go to. If you're in L'Escala try to go there, especially for the menu del dia.

We have been here several times. The quality of the food is highly variable.The quality of the steak leaves much to be desired even when it has been returned once and replaced. Unfortunately it is living off its past reputation , very dated and food not well presented and can be very pricey. The owners dont seem interested in complaints

The chateaubriand here is our favorite, good quality meat and cooked exactly as requested. We usually manage to eat here three or four times in the year when we are over from UK.
