We have given a review of Can Roura before, however after this years multiple visits we feel we must just write and say Thank You to Joan, George and all the others who provide the excellent food and service always available at this wonderful restaurant. The Redberry mouse/cheesecake and the Chocolate desert were wonderful. We have been visiting this place for... More

Probably the best recommendation I can give it is that my 15 year old daughter (fussy eater) said it was the best spaghetti Bolognaise, and chicken she had ever had, not only did we have to go back, but she wants to cook now! This is the only place to eat at St Marti, food is brilliant, service attentive and... More

Having read the reviews we went out with the intention of eating at Can Roura, but arrived at Sant Marti D'Empuries a little early. Can Roura does not open until 8.0pm and the kids were hungry so we grabbed a table at the restaurant next door. After waiting for 20 mins we still hadn't even had our drinks order taken... More

Quite simply outstanding food! Easy to miss as others have suggested as it is tucked in the corner and doesn't have the stunning exterior setting the other three restaurants have in the square. This said, it more than makes up for this but serving some of the best food to be found in the area and if you book ahead... More

We stopped here after our visit to the emporio ruins. It's just 10 minutes walking from there. Excellent patio to have lunch, friendly service and superb menu for just 16euro. In addition we ordered the shrimp ceviche as an additional starter and was delicious. Recomended place !

Set slightly away from the square and without tables and chairs outside to attract the passing tourists, Can Roura is definitely a far better choice. Having had a great meal last year we made a return visit and weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and our waiter was so helpful and kind - he went out of his way to... More

Among a range of touristy restaurants with tables to the village square, we chose Can Roura for a dinner based on very positive reviews here. Eating in the courtyard was nice and quieter than in the restaurants around. Prices too elevated Can Roura from its direct neighbours, with the starters in particular being quite expensive. The service was excellent though... More

Had an absolutely wonderful lunch here after a morning at the beach. We sat on their back patio which small and enclosed but very private and enjoyable. We both ordered their fixed week day menu and had a .5 liter of wine, water, and a couple of choices for a starter, main plate and dessert, all for less than 30... More
